Poe, the so-called news, is not so much news any more, as it is entertainment. We need to get Huntley, Brinkley, Cronkite and Murrow back in the newsrooms.
I've ended up going to foreign news sources to find out what's going on here in the States...
We have been getting more rain moving through the area, so things are looking up containment-wise.
I'm also going to stick my tongue out at CES because it's a whopping 5* cooler here than where she's at!
Dealing with the Zombie Apocalypse is easier when there're cooler temps...

Poe, the so-called news, is not so much news any more, as it is entertainment. We need to get Huntley, Brinkley, Cronkite and Murrow back in the newsrooms.
I don't blame the newscasters. Most of them (not all, but most) would be delighted to do real news but the networks (cable & broadcast) are afraid it won't get the ratings and some of it is expensive to gather so they have the on-air staff do round-the-clock coverage of a cruise ship with bad plumbing.
But on-line coverage doesn't even require that. All they have to do is add an update paragraph to the existing story. And I don't expect it to be the great, big, bold story at the top of the page. I just want to find the update without having to do a search three times (because I didn't guess the optimal words the first two.) Okay, CNN?

I've been gone from here for too long. I've been swamped with too much work. In Indy last week for a franchise conference.
God how I hate going from western to eastern time zones. Throws everything out of whack. Then setting up a store remodel from what we learned at the conference this week.
Anyway lets see if I can catch up.
Sonic - Sorry to hear about your kitty. I lost my dog last year to cancer. It's not fun at all. I hope your handling your loss alright, especially with your new job and the stresses that can bring.
Deej - Congrats on the health situation. I like my fearless kitty leader to be healthy and happy. Stay safe with the fires. It seems like everywhere in the west is burning and everywhere in the east is flooding. If only mother nature would even out.
General - Wooo new flavors! Wooo fun sale! I don't think I can participate in the sale this time but I did figure out the word for the heck of it. Ah who am I kidding, I'll probably end up getting some of the new line anyway. Just to add to my stockpile.
Lets see in 1976 I was... don't hate me... -10 years old.
If I missed anything I'll just blame it on me still adjusting back to mountain time.

Thanks Spud, I miss her terribly, but am glad she no longer suffers. Trying to erase the last image of her in my mind from the vet's office and replace with all the happy times.

Now to try to get my sister to figure out what she wants to try. I got her an eRoll as she didn't like eGo style (too big, she says! pfft!). She likes the size & lightness of the eRoll, so gonna get her to try a few different menthol flavors to find one she likes. (She currently smokes Camel Crush, if anyone has any suggestions! )OH! Think I got it!
