Yay! Captured hearts and minds!

I can say that out of the 4 Deej's I've tried so far, 2 are definitely going to stay in my rotation. As I try more, there may eventually end up being enough to keep me happy happy.

I run easily like 5 or more flavors at a time and like to mix things up a bit. There are a couple die hard favorites of mine that I currently see no reasonable replacements available for from here. But that can change of course.

Based on what I've tasted so far though, I could also see one of my new Deej favs winning out over one of my die hards if it absolutely came down to one or the other.

Tobaccos is an odd situation. I rarely vape them but I do keep one set up for when I'm in the mood. But since I don't vape them nearly as much, I don't spend much money to try different ones. I've got a few current favorites, but other than the one big well known one the others I've found through samples that I'd been sent. Which I then buy larger bottles of to keep on hand.

I think any straight up fruit would fall into a similar situation as the tobaccos pretty much. But I currently have no specific straight up fruit juices in my rotation. I was at one point looking for the perfect peach, but I've found the risk / reward ratio for me to be much better in the desserts catagory. I've also found my share of crap there too.

The potential is there for some lucky mixologist to win me over like 95% but doubt I'll ever find one where I could get 100% of everything I want. Then of course there's always the curiosity of trying something new.

Question for Trav: do you drip?

Not since the doc gave me that injection.

Once in a while or when I'm flavor testing a bunch of different juices.

Do I detect a challenge?

Okay, good! So you're not in so much danger of slipping!

Good to know.

I was actually going to mention dripping in regards to one of you juices. There's this one I'm having trouble with, wasn't sure if you'd prefer to discuss in PM's.

PM, email or here... I don't mind resolving issues with my stuff in the open. Unless it gets to weird, then we can go PM.

ETA: talking about it in the open can also open it up to others who've tried the flavor and maybe run into the same problem...

I'm having problems with the English Toffee. I even took it to the 306 atty for dripping to be sure. Perhaps it's me, perhaps it needs to steep a little longer, but I'm having a heck of a time getting anything out of it flavor wise.

There's something there, almost like a "hint", but what little I do get I can't really describe. It almost seems like a base juice or like maybe an unfinished recipe.

It could be my mind again. Not knowing what to expect and trying to fill in the blanks. Remember the watermelon I talked about that tasted like Cucumber & Parmesan?

Tobacco's are hard for me too. Many of the one's I've come to like, I hated when I first tried it out of the mailbox. One I found by accident when going through tasting (just to be sure) a bunch of juices I was getting ready to get rid of.

Steeping seems to play a huge factor, and I don't always have the patience.

I've seen that before, Trav... I had another customer who couldn't taste the Butterscotch... even at 300% flavoring.

Not to say that's what's going on with you, though.

Hmmm...

I'd think it's steeped enough...

Try this... let it steep for a day or two uncapped. It has a trace of ethyl alcohol in one of the flavor components... that could be blocking you from tasting it. Give it a real good shake, then open up the bottle (pull out the nipple... gently, cause it can be painful) and let it stand. If you're worried about dust getting in it, you can open up a sandwich-sized baggie and tent it... or actually anything to tent it...

It seems like tobacco flavors need AGES to steep before they really express themselves.
