Heads up for all my international customers, I'm going to be raising shipping rates (again).

The way the USPS did it was sneaky. I see almost no change in domestic rates; maybe a few pennies more here and there. But international rates skyrocketed.

So, the watch for that. Part of what they did is going to require me to build a rate table based on country, so that's going to take a day or three.

I'm also going to have to bump up the amount to qualify for free shipping. It looks like it's going to be bumped by $25 for both domestic and international.

It really hurt to send out an order to (unspecified country) and literally lose more than $10 on the order.

Question on the kiwi blends. I'm vaping my Skiwi. In general, I always think I'm going to like strawberries more than I do (both the fruit and the e-liquid) but I like it a lot. And there's something about it that reminds me of a lighter Blumel Caraberry (except that it's strawberry, not blueberry.)

Has anyone had both the Bluwi and the Blumel? Are they related (with the Bluwi being less "in your face?") If so, it will be on my next order -- I really like the Blumel except that it's a bit sweet for me. I have a sweet tooth that doesn't ever get satiated but, for some reason, I'm moving away from very sweet juices.
So no one has tried both Bluwi and Blumel Caraberry?

Hey everybody, what's up?

Work is starting to get back to somewhat normal.

Gettin ready to pull the trigger on a PHAT Deejstuff "please don't take mah vapes away come April" order. Mostly big bottle of the must haves, with a few samplers thrown in.

I figure if I do it this early I may still have time to order a bigger bottle of any samples I might like. :D

The eVods sure don't hold very much and it's having a little trouble here & there keeping up with my NY Cheesecake. Still probably the best string device I've tried.

The new TV is obscenely large for my bedroom. I love it.

Edit: Oh yeah, got my tax return direct deposited this morning. :w00t:

Not to discourage any Deej buys :) , but remember that April is when they're expected to announce the regulations (which they've announced 2-3 times over the last couple of years, and still haven't done). Then there will be a commentary period of 30-60 days, then they will write a report, and send recommendations to Congress, etc, so they won't actually take affect in April.

Naturally, though, any time is a good time to stock up on Deejstuff. I hear that will ward off any apocalypse.

Texas...where else??
I'm stocking up on cartos & juice for now. But I've also got some rebuildable atty's and mesh /wire for them, and "some" DiY juice supplies. I may beef up a little on that last part as well, but I'm hoping I can use what I've got to ween myself down to nothing before it runs out.

My original intent when I started this journey in July was to eventually wean myself down to 0mg & then put them down entirely. However, I've found that I like vaping ALLOT MORE than I ever did smoking. I'm down to 12mg from my very first bottle ever at 28mg. I recently gave 0mg a try...prospective job that opportunity that wouldn't hire smokers (or anyone who tests positive for nicotine). I'll admit it was a half hearted effort, as I was just so disgruntled with the whole policy, that I just blew it off. However, 12mg is obviously more gratifying than 0mg.

I guess I've kinda been in denial that they may pull the plug on this, until today. I went to pick up some hardware from a local vendor...they had a notice up about the April date. They said they'll likely shut down their business.

I hope it doesn't come down to an eventual ban. Just don't want to believe, after 27 years of smoking, then FINALLY having a truly effective means of kicking an awful, disgusting habit....that it could be taken away.

Do you have many deej?

oops... sorry... got majorly distracted...

I've read about Greece, Australia, and I think Sweden? I'm sure with his quality & service there are at least 40 more. :D

Japan, S. Korea, Canada, Israel, Saudi Arabia... and some others...

So...what the heck are we going to do if they do take them away? :(

This remains to be seen...

I think the store was overly pessimistic.

I don't plan to close up shop, but I'll likely have to undergo some rather major revisions. It depends on what regs get promulgated. For example, I may end up selling to B&Ms only... so much depends...

Yeah of course the spigot may not dry up exactly come April. But depending on what the announcement is, you can bet both hardware and juice prices could go through the roof, not to mention possible availability issues as everyone tries to stock up on the price gouged remnants

I couldn't agree more. I started vaping more looking to save some money and find a new hobby. Next thing ya know I'm 2 weeks smoke free heading now onto my 1st full year.

But I do really enjoy vaping. Though I find myself often going long stretches without it. Been at 12mg for quite a while but rather than reducing the level I find myself vaping less.

I'd really miss it if it were to disappear completely.

"I think the store was overly pessimistic."

I hope so... They're actually just a couple who sell hardware & juice online & out of their home. She says they sometimes have trouble getting flavoring, even now...though she didn't expand on the subject, she alluded to the FDA.

That's interesting.

I have zero problem getting flavorings as long as I stay away from diacetyl...

Although, I did stop importing directly from FlavourArt. I found a domestic reseller that is actually selling to me for a bit less than I can buy direct. He does a much larger volume than I do...

I know that when people were buying cigarettes online to save money, there were some sellers who used a service offered by… USPS? FedEx?… The first time they delivered, you had to give them photo ID showing that you were 18+. After that, an adult had to be home to accept delivery. A pain in the .... and it would probably raise shipping costs again, but better than not being able to get it.

I've had the post office leave insulin, needles and other meds in front of my apartment door. But, of course, they have to protect thieves from my 6mg nicotine e-liquid.
