Hey folks. I just received my first shipment from Deej. I have a question. Can a premixed juice that is over a year old lose its flavor? Of the 8 premixed flavors I ordered, 4 seem to have little or no flavor.

Did you shake it well and give it time to fully saturate the device (break in)?

I've only ever (so far) tried one of Deej's pre-mixed juices and it seemed fine to me. He does have a couple of flavors that I just can't seem to taste at all. But that has more to do with my personal taste buds and the magic / science behind artificial flavorings than the age of the juice.

As mentioned above, a big player will be what kind of setup you use. Though 125% flavor has just about always come through for me in most setups I've used and is what I order all the time. I mostly use dual coil carto tanks.

About the only setup that ever disappointed me with 125% flavor would be some of the clearomizers that use string(s). But even then some would work better than others depending on the flavor. It seemed to me the simpler flavors came through string clearomizers much better than the more complex ones.

As for the age of the pre-mixed juices, it's why their on clearance sale prices. Once they're gone, there will be no more available. I believe he used to make them for some of the retailers he supplies, but is going with "fresh mixed" for now on. They should be fine for quite a long time as long as they're kept sealed. The good thing about them (besides price) is there's no steep time needed.

Without knowing the flavors involved (some are more subtle than others) and what kind of setup you're using, not a lot more I can say really.

I am using Joye SR 510 attys on my KGO-VV Mega. I start at 3.6 volts and work my way up to 4.2 volts.

Four of the flavors I tried last night will definitely be ordered again, make that five, as of this morning (pomegranate champagne, sweetgingerbread, ry4, peppermint and spearmint).

In fact, I like pomegranate champagne so much, it is going to be my first ADV. Of everything I've tried, it is my favorite flavor by far. The flavor is not too strong, not two weak, and to me, it tastes exactly as the name suggests it should.

Deej, how many premixed bottles of pomegranate champagne (24 mg) do you have left :)

I believe Oba oba was one of the juices I had trouble tasting too.

And yeah, (forgot about this) taste bud burnout can be a big issue as well. Especially when trying a bunch of different flavors in a short period of time.

Just wait til you get into some of the Cheesecakes or Sweet Gingerbread. You'll have more flavor that you know what to do with! :D

I have some cheesecake :) I'm going to let it steep until this weekend. And yes, the sweet gingerbread is good... sweet buttery ginger goodness... alright, what did I do with that bottle ;)
