Dehydration?

I'm just curious (new to vaping) if vaping dehydrates you? If so is it something we vapers have to take seriously? I've already been in a hospital for fluids from becoming dehydrated once before, and came close to another one a little while ago.

The reason I'm asking is I have MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and somehow it effects the way my body hydrates properly. At least is seems like that since i've had this (10 years). Just want some input on the topic from the pros, or anyone else that has had issues. I seen a few comments on the issue and want to know just how much it will effect me .

In what I've read so far, and I'm really new, is that you should drink water while vaping. I don't drink enough water, I was never a big water drinker. I love my coffee tho! So I make it a point to really watch my water intake.

I always drink water but i still get so thirsty at night maybe bcuz i vape too much ...

I figured. I'll just down a few liters a day just in case. I love my coffee also which I won't be able to give up. I only drink Decaf.

It's common to experience dryness in your throat while vaping, as both PG and VG absorb water fairly readily. Given the MS, I'd suggest you talk to your doctor, although I've never heard of someone becoming dehydrated from vaping. I still refer you to my rule #3- when in doubt, ask an expert. Good luck!

Yes as a general rule Vape, sip, Vape, sip. I've read that on this forum several times.

I don't drink enough water but do intend to drink more of it. Well in between my Black Rum that is.

I do find my mouth is a little dry after vaping for a bit. I'll be sure to keep well hydrated .

My 7th month vamping now. The first few months I had horrible dry mouth. Now I am fine but I do drink about 2 liters of water a day though.

I drink about 2-3 liters of water a day since I started vaping. I only drank probably 1-1.5 before that. Only in the past 6 months even became a water drinker, I used to drink almost 2 liters of Coca Cola a day when I was in teens/early twenties!
