Just checked my tracking number and it says my Provari should be here by tomorrow. Now my boys had better answer the door when the mailman knocks for a signature. I have already informed son number one that it is utmost importance that he signs for that package. I will be talking to son number two tonight and will be texting frequent reminders tomorrow. Really excited. We are going out of town this weekend and it would be great to have my new toy to play with. Probs wont take it on the boat with me - do not want to risk water getting on it.
Gonna be a long night and day waiting to get my hands on it.

I appreciated Provape's quick turnaround and shipment, but I hate having to arrange to be home all day to sign for the shipment. My mail comes anywhere from 10am to 5pm.

I realize that they might have to do this on $200 shipments, but my last shipment was just a 510-ego adaptor. I missed the delivery and had to wait an extra day to go to the post office to pick it up on lunch hour.

Here's the issue that I think is at play with this. I've heard from other vendors, and actually received an email from one last night regarding the fact that in the last 2 months, USPS delivery has gone from an average of 3 days to 6 days and that lost packages have increased by 600%.

I'm not trying to scare you guys. Rather, I'm pointing this out because I expect that ProVape has experienced these same issues and. Is just covering their .... with the new signature requirement. It stinks, but I understand why they're doing it.

NeMom, text them both every 5 minutes with "Is it there yet?" lol. They surely will notify you as soon as they get the package and will not dare miss the carrier. ;)

Wow, Tommy, that really stinks. With the USPS losing business and being under fire, you would think they would be trying extra hard to get things right.

I know this to be true, and a couple of weeks ago I had a shipment that was addressed properly but delivered to the wrong address. I was very lucky that the Post Office responded quickly to my complaint and did find and deliver the package to me 2 days later.

If it is the USPS that is at fault, then maybe they should give the option of going with UPS or FEDEX. They seem to have a better track record.

This is a common misconception....mainly because the media isn't capable of reporting more than the most superficial parts of a story.

Well, here's the truth. USPS is NOT losing business as far as their shipping business is concerned. What has hurt them is back in 2006, the congress passed and the then president signed a ridiculous law requiring USPS to fund their employee pension plan 75 years in advance over a period of only 10 years. It's absurd in many ways. The USPS brass and even the employee union were against it. No other industry or agency is required to do anything like that. It was a brazen play on the part of the president and congress to destroy the postal system and hand off the scraps to private shippers like FedEx and UPS...who just so happen to be a lot more expensive than USPS.

On top of that, because of the "budget sequester" that took effect in March, the USPS and other agencies have been forced to furlough and lay off employees, cut down on the number of flights ect.

It's a disaster that its totally unnessicary. Call your congressman or senator if you want something to be done about it....you know, if you like having your packages arrive on time or at all.

The sequester didn't cause this. The USPS budget actually increased. It just increased about 2% less than the increase they wanted. There were no actual cuts. Not one. In Washington speak, if I spend $500 this year, and want to spend $600 next year, and I get told I can only spend $580 next year, I just had a "cut" by their definition - even though my spending has actually increased by $80.

Upon further review, I take the sequester part (and only sequester part) back to some extent....but neither of us are right on that one. However the rest clearly stands. Also,

Fair enough. And I'm not getting into the rest, because ECF really isn't where I come to chat politics. Though I will say that I'm pretty much un-pigeon-holeable politically, and usually manage to both remain fast friends with and piss off everyone from minarchist libertarians to hard socialists, because I sometimes agree, sometimes not, and refuse to do the tribal lockstep groupthink thing. I'm too old for that crap. vape on, friend. ;-)

It came!! My Provari came today. I slapped in a battery, watched the instructional video and I am vaping away.
It is smaller than the VAMO I am use to and feels so much better built! I am looking forward to enjoying it for a long time to come.
Congratulations on finally getting it.
It's much more pocket friendly than a vamo and as you noted, the build quality is fantastic. I'm sure you're going to really enjoy it.
