In Google, try typing:

define:[word to be defined]

I'm glad you edited your post. New people don't always know about the search function. That is why so many people ask the same question over and over again.

With noobs, always be tender and play nice. We all were there once, and didn't we appreciate the thoughtful and informative wisdom we received here? Paying it forward means accepting that some questions will be repeated over and over. It's not the same person asking the same question - if that were the case, yeah, get real with them. But these innocent noobs... Never suffer a child (figurative). Welcome them with open arms and instead of saying, "Search forums" or "Use Google", try to understand they may not be as savvy as yourself. Sometimes it's well worth it to take the time to explain things in your own words.

Pay it forward. My vaping motto.

SNUS = floor sweepings, seriously!

Ehhh. Actually, when I still smoked real cigs, and our boss nixed our smoke break, I looked into these to carry me through my nic fits. I never intended to be a real snus user. It was just a stand-by. It worked, but it had all the nastiness of a real cigarette. When I saw a 30 year hardcore smoker vaping, I knew that was all the impetus I needed to quit. Now... no need for snus.

Nobutts, what made you ask about snus? Just curious.

And what made you ask about WTA? Never even came across that term until your post and I consider myself a somewhat amateur "veteran" vaper.

Just would love to assimilate information.

That Google 'define' function has worked aces for me. Someone wants to know what jargon words mean, that's the fastest way of finding out that I know of.

Snus ( /ˈsnuːs/; Swedish pronunciation: [snʉːs]), or Swedish snuff, Nas in Iran or Naswar in Afghanistan, Pakistan and India, is a moist powder tobacco product originated from a variant of dry snuff in the early 19th century in Sweden; consumed by placing it under the lip for extended periods of time. The precursor of snus, the dry form of snuff inhaled through the nose, was introduced in Europe much earlier. Snus is a form of snuff that is used in a manner similar to American dipping tobacco, but typically does not result in the need for spitting. Snus is also unique in that it is steam-pasteurized rather than fire-cured, is not fermented and contains no added sugar. The sale of snus is illegal in the European Union,[1][2] but due to exemptions, it is still manufactured and consumed primarily in Norway and Sweden. Its popularity is growing in the United States as an alternative to smoking and traditional "chewing" tobacco. In Sweden, snus is often used to quit smoking, which has led to a significant decrease in the prevalence of smoking among men.[

I tried snus once - and left it at that.
Many of my friends use the stuff though, as it is available everywhere here in Norway.

I have seen it used as a means to stop smoking many times, and in many cases it just ended up as an additional habit..

I remember first hearing about snuff when I read The Scarlet Pimpernel way back in high school. Basically he was the first James Bond/Batman/Zorro. At one point, to escape, he secretly replaces his pursuer's snuff with, wouldn't you guess it, ground pepper. So when the bad guy is standing there delivering his Evil Speech, he takes a hit of his snuff, bursts into fits of sneezing, and our hero exits stage left. Ok, literary nerd moment over...
