...And then Sloth comes up with this and I want them all.. :D

Crap..

Everything's subjective bro, and every atty can be killer in the right hands. As in love as I am with my Derringers (and I mean, it will be difficult to beat for me, the whole Brads Cap look of it, dready patina'd top cap dealio) there's many others out there I'm eager to try. One would be just as well to use what they use and pay no mind to the ramblings and such of adventurous fools like myself. Whatever works works and staying off cigs is the golden compass - and the Odin is a fine beast all of its own, a Final Fantasy-esque relic of love and liberty, the cosmos intertwined with the spirit.

I'm stoked about the Bonsai. And intrigued enough by the Omerta to be excited to try it despite the funky build.

I love the look of the Derringer, but it just gets too hot for me (I take long lung inhales). So had to part with it. I have a Rogue on the way and I'm thinking I'm going to like it, both aesthetically and performance wise... but a lot of times, you never know till you try it in person.

Has anyone tried the new Hellfire squonk atty? The Viper? I haven't got one yet but I'm hearing great things about it.

First time I seen a pic of the viper! Nice. Wish I'd have known about the Derringer. I'd have taken another!

Ah yes - the ReOdin config. I, myself, am partial to the DerReo (Derringer + Reo), although I don't mind the FReokshow or the Reouge, either.

hehehe very clever!

You did not go wrong my friend. That combo kicks solid ayuss and a more bullet proof combo would be hard to match up.

I just suddenly realized basically by peer pressure that It is fun to experiment with easy to build attys :)

I liked the odin too and found it easy to build, but it just wasn't good on flavor. Course, could be I haven't gotten the golden goose build in it yet. Now something has happened to mine, not sure what, but will deal with that later.

Russ, it would be good since Tim seems to be going down the atty hole with you, to maybe have him give you opinions on flavor of each of the atties, since you only do unflavored. Course, now is a bit late to come up with that huh lol Off to watch the rogue vid.

thanks. I haven't used nichrome, but noticed a lot of folks using 26g kanthal, may have to get some. I did do some twisted as was suggested, but kept it was about 0.9 on a single coil. Probably need to drop ohms to get more flavor from it. thanks again, and sorry OP for the slight hijack, I now return you to your regularly scheduled thread! lol
My first build on my marquis was dual 26 gage kanthal, I think 7 wraps with 2.5 mm ID coils, and it came to .45 ohms. With that build I wasn't getting enough power to get the warm dense flavorful vape I wanted, that's why I went with the nichrome to get a little less resistance and faster heat up to boost my vapor production.

Here's the rogue vid :)

Direct youtube link: https://youtu.be/yy4Z4HXPIZQ

Thanks again, SuperX, for a great review and evaluation. Very much looking forward to your vid. reviews of the derringer, marquis and whatever else comes to the fore.

The rogue looks like goes like a house afire, as some of us oldsters used to say, but my dual coil wrapping talents leave a lot to be desired when it comes to havin' 'em come out equal. Also, doesn't dual coil eat up the batteries fairly quickly? Maybe I could block one side port or ??? I do like the fact that the rogue doesn't leak easily.:)

For now I will kick back and wait and watch, and enjoy. After that I'll be at decision height as we say in the flying biz.

Thank you. The derringer vid may be pushed out a lil bit - waiting till they are back in stock and I still have to build the marquis and shoot the vid :)

I hear ya on the rogue. It does produce a very copious amount of vapor but yes, it does require dual coils.

I would guess that resistance predicates how fast a battery would drain (just a guess) but if you have a single at 0.6 i speculate it would drain your battery at the same rate as a dual setup netting 0.6. :)

After my few days, the derringer is a really nice atty. It's not Mesh friendly though and you know me and my mesh. With cotton it's great either single or dual and performs very well. Just too much space for a single coil mesh.
Did someone say Marquis?

Bottom fed it. Used washers on all the screws. Really helps grab the wire(s). Great vape though just too big for the REO IMHO....

what size washers did you use? Need to probably get some. Specially since my clone doesn't have the flanged + screw.

So the Marquis can be converted to BF? Interesting, it's one of my favorites. I'll definitely be sending mine off to Chowderhead along with my Derringer and Odin then.

I'm sure you know this, but even though he's done those, check with him before sending, even if they're all auths. I know he said he would do a run of auth marquis at some point, and has probably done some of the others as well, but some runs he does are just of clones, or at least at first. He an do most any of em, but once in awhile he finds one he won't touch.
