I wouldn't wait, only 3 left. I started with the joye510 Mega in August and just got my ego this week. I wish I would have started with the ego! If they do sell out though, you can buy the riva at liberty flights as well, I just ordered that tonight because I want to have backup if something happens to my ego. I still have the kit I started with, but after the ease of the ego I don't want to go back to the 510. Also vapemasters.com is having a sale on juice $6 off with the code 6offabottle. I am not recommending it because I haven't tried it yet, though I did order it tonight. Best price I've found so far on tobacco flavors. My personal fave is Vapor Renu 555, but there have been some people that just don't like VR. I love it and it is cheap. I'm wary on juice and I don't do Dekang. Also vapemasters has an ego passthrough for $18 (very cheap). I still have 2 510 passthroughs, so I passed on that, though I was tempted.

If you are going to make a quick decision I would buy the ego. The 510 is sleeker, but the ego is a workhorse. Liberty Flights was good on shipping for me as well.

That's a much better choice, IMO and LibertyFlights is top notch! Get some 5ml bottles of juice in different flavors instead of one big bottle. That way you can try different flavors and not get stuck with one big bottle of something you hate.

Does this eGo I was referring to come with a manual button battery? I cant tell :( I want the regular Joye 510 but its outta stock from liberty :( And the deal on the eGo is crazy.

Yeah, the part list for what youre looking at was buried at the bottom of the page. I'll just copy and paste it here for you, it was a bit hidden:

2 x manual eGo 650mAh batteries
2 x Joye 510 atomizer
2 x Atomizer Cone
5 x tobacco cartridges
1 x high speed USB charger
1 x usb mains charger
1 x user manual
1 x presenation box

When you recieve it do two things.

1) blow out the fluid insde the atomizer. It comes with a fliud inside to keep it moist. But, that fluid tastes like crap. So blow it out into a napkin. Dont forget the napkin... or youll get fluid on the brand new white dress shirt your wife just bought you... dont ask.

2) take a paper clip and remove the filler material in the prefilled carts. rinse the filler under the sink, and pat dry with a paper towel. reinsert the filler material. And now your ready to fill them with a decent flavor. When ou fill your cart with a decent flavor, dont forget to add a couple drops direcly inside the atomizer.

Happy vaping!

Liberty Flights comes highly recommended. Though the RIVA is functionally the same thing as the EGO. LF sells the RIVA for $10 less BTW...

Everyone is right about getting different flavors of liquid. Maybe 5 different flavors is a good place to start. Thats why the small bottles are good!

Also, I recommend starting with at least 18mg nicotine, or preferably, 24mg+. It'll make the switch so much easier, and you can always mix it down.

Grab a pack of 510 cartomizers, and maybe a few Ego cartomizers too. (510, ego, and RIVA stuff is pretty much all interchangeable. )

Trust us, you'll be way more satisfied with an ego or RIVA, than a standard 510. While those tiny batteries are cute, they only last an hour or two. So then you're left toting spare batteries, USB chargers, dc charges, ac adapters, etc... Plus the RIVA, at least at LF, is pretty much the best bang for your buck starter kit on the market!

Wow scratch what I last said... Im prolly going with the Joye eGo afterall. Though the set I mentioned earlier is slicker with the fancy LED lights and blah blah I just saw this:

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Joye eGo

On this page is a special offer on the EGO with only 4 left. with a 20% discount its crazy cheaper and I can pop some fluid on there! Hopefully there will be some left tomorrow :(

with extra fluids and stuffs its 52$ plus shipping! *wait wait wait waiting for tomorrow*

Looks like a good deal. eGo is the way to go. The quality (and price) will be much better than Volcano (all my Volcano parts quit working within the first week or so...bad quality, way overpriced crap).

I smoked a pack a day of Merit Ultra Light 100s. Started with 18mg, it was perfect, and then I tried 30mg and 24mg -- too harsh for my throat and mouth, so now I'm back to 18mg, which is perfect.

Have fun!

Welp I saw the number drop to 2 so I bought it. I bought 6 fluids varying flavors in 18mg and 24mg 5ml bottles plus the special edition sale Joye eGo starter kit at 39.99 instead of 51.96!

+ a 20% discount and I was set with around 59 and change with shipping.

I'm so excited, I hope it gets here by Tuesday! Anyone know how long it takes for liberty to ship? Its Sunday but hopefully first thing monday morning and soon after that itll get here!

Thanks EVERYONE for their help tonight. I know it's kinda impulse but I did do a buncha research the last few hours and your replies all helped cement in what I really wanted and how to do it! The eGo seems to be my best bet and at that price for what I got I'm satisfied.

Can't wait to get it and be tobacco free!

Good deal! If it was priority shipping (from CA to NY), I'd estimate 2 to 3 days (Wed or Thurs). If first-class mail, I'd estimate 3 to 4 days (Thurs or Fri). You can't count Monday, since it won't go anywhere until Monday night, at the earliest. I think you should have it all by Wed (at the earliest) or Thurs or Friday (at the latest). Just my guess...

Ok so if the 510 Ego and RIVA stuff is pretty interchangeable am I able to switch say a Joye 510 Mega battery like the one I mentioned earlier JOYE 510 SERIES:BATTERY BLACK W/ GREEN LED with the rest of the eGo set I'm getting?

I know its less impressive as the eGo but I want the option of that cool sleek black battery with the LED in front :) I wanna know before the end of today so I can order it seperately from Electro or cancel/change my order with LF before it ships... its only $10.39 from LF for a black manual 510 battery with that 20% discount!

And I will let everyone know how it works out!

Wow! You got one killer deal, dude! I am absolutely in love with my eGo. I did start with a 510 kit, and I'm not too upset about it, at least I've got backup batteries in case something major happens.

You've got an excellent selection of flavours, you're bound to like at least a couple of them (BTW, I love the addition of the Peanut Butter flavour, very ballsy! ;) ). And having a couple of different nicotine strengths is a good idea, too. If you were to order all 24mg you may find it too harsh, which would make waiting for another order difficult. Some people even find they need higher or lower strengths at different times of day. Also, because of your decent selection of juices initially, you'll find your next juice order will be much easier.

The eGo/Riva/Tornado (they're all pretty much the same), are a great place to start. My eGo batteries are consistently lasting 9-12 hours. This is amazing coming from the 510, which was only lasting about 2 hours at work, and barely an hour at home (I vape pretty much constantly at home!).

All in all, you've got the first purchase I wish I had gotten almost two months ago. Congratulations, you've made a fantastic first step into vaping, and welcome to ECF.

Thanks for the boost in confidence! I'm a quick learner and everyone here has been awesome. Glad to know I have you guys to back up my relatively quick decision! I picked peanut butter cause I love it and have high hopes but I won't be dissapointed if it sucks either ha.

Anyone able to confirm I can use a joye 510 manual battery with the atomizer and carts I'm getting with the eGo kit I ordered? I really wanna add one to my order if I can use the smaller 510 battery also. I want a smaller cig looking battery with the LED too I don't mind that its battery life is shorter I just wanna know I'd it'll work before I change my order.

If not do I need a whole 510 kit separate?

Good deal! And well under your expectations. You're going to need more juice in less than two weeks if you're like me, let me know how the juice is as well, it'd be nice to throw in a sample if I buy new equipment. Liberty Flights shipping was pretty good for me, but I've heard others weren't so lucky. I think they totally switched to usps and that's where mine came through. We're in the same general area so I'm think either Wednesday or Thursday of this week if it's similar to last time.

The regular atty and carts are interchangeable between the eGo and the 510, so you should be just fine with the eGo kit and a couple of 510 batteries. I have a 510 PT and an eGo. Just love the hell out of both of them!

I suggest that you add a couple of extra atty's to your order. It can never hurt to have extras in case one decides to bite the dust.

Yes, the 510 mega will work with the standard 510 atties and carts which are what come with the eGo, but the charger WILL NOT. The eGo charge will destroy 510 batteries. I wouldn't waste my time with the 510 Mega, that's what I started out with and yes, the LED is quite spiffy and I love the color of mine (I have the green with green LED) and actually the look is half of what sold it, but it's a PITA compared to the eGo in my opinion. For some reason I always get "juiced" with the 510 (ejuice in the mouth is not pleasant!) but not once since I started with the eGo. I'd spend the money on more eGo supplies if I were you. Can never have enough attys or cartomizers,,,,,or juice. You'll find out soon enough to control your spending on what you need.

PS haven't touch my 510 since I got my ego!

Yes - The Ego/Riva and 510 are 100% compatible - if you decide you want to try the 510 all you will need is a couple batteries and a charger. YOU CAN NOT USE THE EGO CHARGER FOR THE 510.

The most fantastic thing about e-cigs are that they are COMPLETELY modular. 510, 901, 306 etc. etc. all just refer to the threaded connectors between the battery and atomizer. The eGo uses 510 threads, so ANY 510 atomizer or cartomizer will work with it, no extra effort required. If you wanted to use a KR808D-1 cartomizer (which uses 901 threading), you'd simply need to buy a 510-901 adapter as well (and they're dirt cheap, like $3-4ish).

The short answer is no, you don't need to buy an entire 510 kit, the atomizers you get with the eGo are 510 atomizers. However the eGo charger will simply fry a 510 battery. The battery will fit in the charger, but the charger puts out so much juice that the smaller 510 battery just can't handle it.

SO! If you do want a 510 batt, you're going to need a charger, too. That should only run you about $20-25 for both. With that in mind, though, if you're willing to spend another $15-20, you might as well get a starter kit... you'll get an extra battery, and two spare atomizers (you can NEVER have too many atomizers) for 15 bucks!!! You won't be able to get that buying separately. Food for thought.
