Yes, LED looks white. I tried calling Hoosier yesterday but the recording says they have no voicemail set up..

I'm not sure what type of carto they put in the cartridge box and there's nothing on the carto itself that gives any indication. I'm using the batteries that came with it, 1050..
I'll try resetting the switch as you mentioned. Thanks for your reply, it's appreciated..

I'm hoping it's not a switch problem and can't imagine why a supplier would send one with known problems of this nature..

The attys and carts that come with the Epower totally suck. I threw out the Prefilled carts and only use the attys to test new juices. I def recommend getting some cartos. They are a LOT better. I use the Ressurector cartos from CCV on my Epower and they work great. They are 1.7ohm though so if you had the current white lED switch they prob wouldn't work so I wouldn't try them until the white LED LR switch is available. I bought the white LED switch and have actually been using it on the Ressurectors now for about 2 weeks. I really dont know why it's working for me since most people have said the switch won't work with a Ressurector. Even tho it's working for me, I wouldn't recommend getting the Ressurectors yet bc for most people they arnt working.
I would get either the Boge 2.0ohm cartos bc they will work on the switch no problem and they are a popular carto and work great, or if you like the size of the Ressurectors Hoosier sells 2.0ohm XL cartos and they will work with the white switch too. They are the same size as the Ressurctors, but are 2.0ohm instead of 1.7ohm.
I buy all my cartos from CCV. They sell the Ressurectors and also have the Boge 2.0ohms. They have good prices and free shipping. Plus you get a free syringe with all carto purchases that you can use to fill them. I def recommend using a syringe to fill and especially if you get XL cartos. Using a syringe is very easy and ensures they are filled properly.
You will def like cartos alot more than what your using now and they will work a heck of alot better. Save the attys though and use them to test juices before you fill a carto.

I have an EPower 14650, had the same issue, but after about 3 weeks of use. I replaced the batteries and that did the trick. I think your batteries are dead/not holding a charge.

Wow...I can't imagine a supplier sending two dead batteries (don't they check them before shppping them?) Hopefully, I'll talk to someone at Hoosier tomorrow. Thanks for the reply!

Out of curiosity, what do your batteries do on the charger? Does the charger have a solid red, blinking red/green or solid green light when you insert the battery?

Any chance you can post a picture of the "cartridges" you received, especially the box they were in? This can help narrow things down.

Good news? You have a host of people on the forum who want to help you. Hoosier will want to, too!

Definitely email hoosier, he is great with customer service!

Not the same place, but my sister ordered an epower. The switch was bad right from the beginning. The vendor offered to send new batts and a switch but only the switch was needed (we checked it against hubby's epower). So maybe there is a type of battery that is bad too, or this vendor just wanted to make sure the issue was corrected, I am not sure. But email him and he will help you out! Wishing you luck-when it is working correctly you will love the epower!

It’s a solid green light for both batteries. I don’t have a photo because I wont be home until tomorrow but I found one online that is identical. This is a photo of the small box I received inside my kit.

And that’s great news. This forum is a wealth of information and I’m so very glad to have found it. Thank you

Thank you for the reply. I will try calling the vendor tomorrow. I sent an email yesterday as well. Thanks again!

Hi Claire, sorry you are having trouble with the E-Power 14650.

I also purchased the E-Power 14650 from Hoosier. I actually have three complete E-Powers. The first one has the blue LED switch and the two I made inexpensively from parts have the white LED switch module. The blue LED switch module works with the Smoktech 1.7 ohm LR XL carto and those with higher resistance. The E-Powers with the white LED switch module work with the Smoktech 2.0 ohm LR XL carto and higher. My white LED switches won't work with the 1.7 ohm LR XL at all.

I received 15 Smoktech 2.0 ohm LR XLs (stainless) to use with my white LED switch E-Powers on Friday. These are same cartos that were included in the starter kit I ordered with my first E-Power 14650. I believe that these are the same cartos you received with your E-Power 14650 kit. The resistance rating is not printed on the Smoktech stainless cartos but appears on the 5-pack boxes when you purchase them. You could meter the resistance from a DMM, but I'm willing to bet you have the Smoktech 2.0 LR XL cartos.

The first time I used these 2.0 LR XL cartos with the white LED switch E-Powers was this weekend. Yes, they will work with the 2.0 LR XL but they can be balky to start. For example: my two white LED E-Powers won't fire the 2.0 LR XL if the E-Power is too cold, like 68 degrees and lower. Strange, but true. If I warm them in my pocket first they work just fine. Batteries also seem to have an effect on how the well the white LED switch works. They seem to work more reliably with my new TrustFire Blue 14650s than my seven week old E-Power 14650s.

Brent at Hoosier is waiting for new switch modules to replace the current white LED switch modules. Contact Brent by email and leave him your cell phone number. He'll get back to you and make things good.

I figured they would be cartomizers because some suppliers do call cartomizers cartridges. Any way with 2.0 ohm cartos and and a known switch problem it is most likely that the switch needs to be replaced. If you are going to keep on vaping and I hope you aren't giving up, it would be worthwhile to go Lowe's or some other hardware store to pick up a $10 multimeter. It's a useful trouble shooting tool. Then any time you have a question about your battery, cartomizer ohms or switch you can use the meter to check it.

...another trick that has been seen to work, is to stretch the spring...use a crochet hook or hemostats or a paperclip, straightened and a hook make on the end and pull the spring out...give it a slight stretch and carefully place back into batt tube...the batt(nipple end) should be sticking a couple of mm out of the tube if the spring properly sized.............

I got an email from Brent at Hoosier today. Brent now has a few of the very latest new replacement switch modules. I you purchased a defective white LED switch from Hoosier as part of an E-Power 14650 kit or as a separate replacement part contact Brent at Hoosier and he will replace it with the new switch module at no cost to you.

I got a replacement from Brent in the mail on Saturday and it is the blue LED switch. I've tried 1.5 ohm dual coils and 1.7 ohm single coils with the new switch and they both fire fine. With the white LED switch nothing under 2 ohm would fire and even 2 ohm was hit and miss.

I'm not saying the supplier sent two dead batteries knowingly, just that I had the same issue and that's what was causing it. I'm sure he'd replace them if that is the problem. Good luck, I hope you get this straightened out.
