Nothing too surprising in the pattern so far - though the very small numbers voting for the Screwdriver and Minifogger raised an eyebrow. May I hasten to add - NOT because the numbers are small but because anyone voted those models at all.

The SD has excellent reviews - it's style may not suit everyone but that could hardly have been a surprise to anyone ordering one.

The Minifogger - I've only heard of a single recipient who got one personally delivered since he lived close to Janty's business. His review seemed positive. Methinks Ludo voted the Minifogger down!:p

Problem with these polls, you can't validate anything. Do we know is the Minifogger / screwdriver votes actually came from owners? See the 401 picked up a vote, also very surprising as all the reviews have been so positive.

Validation is a point Pete - but can't think of any way it can be done. Without doubt there are a few who'll vote to make nuisance. Looking at Judas comparison for those products with 5 or more votes produces some interesting dissatisfaction rates:

Loongtotem 100%
Ruyan / DSE 601 83.3%
RN4081 / DSE 103 66.7%
DealExtreme 60.0%
Ruyan Bling 40%
NJOY/Sedansa/Puresmoker/DSE801 (2 Hole) 21.4%
M401/Intellicig Supermini 20.0%
Screwdriver 14.3%
NJOY/Sedansa/Puresmoker/DSE801 (4 Hole) 14.3%
DSE-901/DSE-901b/Sedansa Nano I 6.3%
Janty Kissbox Classic 0.0%

It'll be interesting to see how this develops ...

I voted against the Health Mini which I think was a RN4081 or DSE 103.

I wanted to go back a vote against the Janty Kissbox Classic but the poll will only let me vote once.
I know there always has to be one!

My story with the Kissbox:
I had the unit apx a week before sending it back because of 3 reasons:
a) The USB device got so hot unplugged it could have burnt up the place.
b) I did not like the button feature which one uses to get the atomizer going. It just seemed like an unnecessary extra gadget to go wrong.
c) I thought the draw/puff was so easy it wasn't fun.

I know of one other poster who sent back the Kissbox.

However, doing business with Janty USA was superb! I got a full return of my money even before I even mailed the items back and they let me keep some cartridges for free.

Let me add though I liked their atomizers which I ordered a few of to use with my NJoy batteries. I also ordered their pouches and the car recharger from them.

If you made the poll non-anonymous.

PS Don't know if Smokey's programming allows for this.

You should allow more than one choice. Many members have bought more than one style and wouldn't buy it again. Not too late to change criteria/conditions. Then the poll could go down in the annals of History as more members buy more and have more to say.

I think polls can be made public, probably not after they have started. I think should both the like / don't like polls ever be rerun, they should be public.

I could have made the responses public, but given that many suppliers frequent this forum, I preferred to make them anonymous to encourage honesty. I still think that's the better path, though it has its own drawbacks (it can't be confirmed).

I see your point, but I think it is having the opposite effect. As far as we know there is one Minifogger out in the wild, but it already has a negative....

The review of the fogger seemed pretty positive so I think we can rule out parked as being the negative

I am embarassed to say I voted in the poll without reading the question. My attempt to be enthusiastic about Trog's Screwdriver turned out to be a vote AGAINST it, which was not my intent! I would recommend the Screwdriver to anyone looking for a serious, high-performance device. It's a vapor factory and the batteries last longer than anything else out there, plus it's great value for money as it uses inexpensive and easy-to-acquire replacement parts (DES901 atomizer and mouthpiece/carts). Perhaps not the prettiest device available (although I think it looks kind of "industrial" and pretty bad-...), but definitely the cream of the crop for performance, battery life and vapor production.

IMHO, of course.

The dissatisfaction ratings are beginning to show a clear pattern.

DSE-901/DSE-901b/Sedansa Nano I 6.1% (n = 33)
Janty Kissbox Classic 15.8% (n = 19)
M401/Intellicig Supermini 16.7% (n = 6)
NJOY/Sedansa/Puresmoker/DSE801 (4 Hole) 18.8% (n = 16)
Screwdriver* 21.1% (n = 19)
NJOY/Sedansa/Puresmoker/DSE801 (2 Hole) 25.0% (n = 16)
Ruyan Bling 40.0% (n = 5)
Ruyan Vegas/Generic Disposable Cigar 40.0% (n = 5)
RN4081/DSE103/NPRO/Great White/Peewee 71.4% (n = 21)
Something from Dealextreme 75.0% (n = 8)
Ruyan/DSE-601/Other/Generic E-Pipe 83.3% (n = 6)
Janty Yentl 100.0% (n = 7)
Loongtotem supermini/E-cig minicig 100.0% (n = 9)

(* adjusted to reflect Dale's dissatisfied vote as a satisfied vote)

Possibly a disgruntled purchaser who hasn't even tried it yet but just wants to vote against Janty? :p

That's the problem with having an anonymous negative poll, you got a grudge against a company, just vote them down. It's different with a positive poll, you can't do much to tarnish a reputation.
