HK, thanks for the info. I finally tried it straight and the throat hit at first was very strong. By day two, it was fine. As far as the JC juice goes, I've read some posts on here about the juice containing "goop". I don't know what people mean by that but I was wondering if you have had any problems with it. So far, I have only ordered juice from TW and I have to say, that their cust service, shipping and juice are awesome. Just ordered 24mg Hilton and Vanilla. Hope they are as good as the Marlboro. Also, just curious, how heavy a smoker you were since you were able to switch right away??

The Njoy Npro was my first electronic cigarette and still my 'work horse'.

I recently went to ruyandirect.com (the Chinese company) and purchased four (4) RN 4081 atomizers for $5.50 each; they worked perfectly with the Npro. Indeed, so well I went ahead and ordered 4 more today. I also use a DSE 801 and a Red Dragon. All have benefits and strong suits.

One question: I keep seeing people referring to 'dripping' onto the atomizer, like for the Npro. Do you literally mean drop a few drops of e-liquid onto that small atomizer/heater rather than into the cartridge?

I'm new to all of this and I had the same question. Researched it and then watched some of the video's on here (I think it's in the new members section), so I gave it a try.

Works GREAT! A lot easier than the cartridge. I also use the RN4081 on my super-e cigarettes. I have an 801 coming in the mail.

So you actually drip the fluid directly onto the heating element? How much? How many puffs do you get?

On my RN4081 I put two, and at the most 3 drops directly on the heating element, yes. And I've no idea how many puffs, sorry haven't counted them and probably wouldn't do much good if I did. My puffs arent' regular, I'm a very irregular puffer...LOL.

I have to say, I'm waiting on the dripping thing. I'm not sure that is the best thing for the atomizers anyway...My NPRO is working fine on it's third week, and I'm not going to push it. I don't want to have to buy analogs....
I get good vapor, good buzz, I'm not smoking tobacco..... I have an order in for atomizers, etc, I'm trying to be patient.
Better patient than ...... off!

Hey, thanks guys, I just ordered 2 atomizers from totally wicked (RN4081)
they were about $6 ea cheaper than the NPRO costs, so HOPE they are compatible. They sure look the same, we'll see! Also got some of his 36mg liquid also, for those "morning" smokes!!

It has been difficult figuring out what parts will work at the best prices, I am more hooked on this Forum than on e-cigs............well, maybe that's a stretch, sure have learned A LOT!!

Gramma's going to bed, gonna be a long day tomorrow..Happy Mother's Day to all who qualify!

Kate, I love ordering from Totally Wicked, good company, but I can't find those atomizers for $6.00 anywhere on their site. Everyone I check are $12.99, so I've started ordering from China. Can you direct me to where on their site these are for $6.00?

How many puffs do you get?

I usually get about 8 or 9 inhales out of a couple of drops. Like others here have said, a few drops on the atomizer seems almost equivalent to the amount of puffs you get out of an analog. So it also has the added benefit of limiting how much I vape at one sitting.

Been going through this thread and it seems to me that have the NPro. I got it from Smoking Everywhere for about $100. This is my second day and still getting use to it. Every once and a while i can pull a decent drag but it is not consistent, usually have to prime it. I am really new to e-cigs and have smoked pack-a-day for about 15 years. Really wish i found this forum before purchasing mine. Is it true that if you refill your own carts that you get better vapor?

My husband bought a SE and 7 boxes of carts. they seem dry and only last 12 or less puffs. He prefers the eliquid I ordered to refill the carts. (very easy with practice) Between the little extra drip i give the atomizer and the 36m liquid he gets great vapor and has actually dried out new carts for me to refill

So far (only 12 days now) mine have been pretty good. How do you know when they've gone kaputt? Do you just no longer have any vapor? Probably stupid question, but I haven't experienced it yet, so just asking.

You got it. The battery will light up, but you will get no vapor at all. I have even had a few that worked, but gave VERY little vapor. You will know when it happens. ;)

Thanks 02. I think a lot of this learning curve, as it is with most things, comes from experience. I'm already learning a lot by doing with the e-cigs.

I have an Npro which was my first ecig purchase. I quickly found something else that had better cart life, and another problem I just had was the cord melting a little bit when I left the battery plugged in for a couple of days. I haven't contact Njoy about the issue because I don't use the kit anyways, and the plug which attaches to the black charging box is pretty much universal with other charging kits.

hi guys,

i don't know where your getting your rn4081's from but there not like my one!!!!!!

i first had a dse901 so did most the people i know, until we all got the rn4081
now my mom(20-25 a day),dad(80-100 a day),sister's(20-30 a day) me(30-40 a day)
all my friends all on about 20-40 a day,

there's about 20 people in all i know who smokes them my dad has tried 18-19 of them, but always went back to his rn4081,

most of them are way far too big, battery lasted for half a day for a few weeks then it dead or half dead, atomizers work for a bit,

but the only one that can stand up too my dads smoking is rn4081, now maybe people are getting from some cheap ... company as it does matter where you all your e-cigs from!!!! the biggest company's not always the best, most people i know got there rn4081
from i-fags.com

thanks
