I got DH an 801, auto batteries. He's finally keeping cart moist enough but is having difficulty keeping attys from getting too hot with his vaping style. He has a bit of unconscious resistance, I do think, to changing his style..... but give him a break... he's 75, and a 55 year analog smoker. And he's a grumpy old man.
I have an eGo, manual batteries, and they fare a little better than his 801 when he uses them.
I, also, have an N-4081 with an extra battery and cartos on the way if that would be an option for him.
We each have a pass-thru, manual, which is a little better for him but he doesn't like the inconvenience. (The standard 801 carts are nice as they hold so much juice so he doesn't have to bother with refilling as much as I do with my 510 carts for my eGo. More attys, cartos, carts, juices, batteries, etc., are enroute for all our e-cigs btw.)
Need Recommendations for what to get him, please.
-He likes the cigar type tip as he likes to hold it in his teeth so that is necessary. He's on computer a lot working on journals and a book so his hands need to be free. He ask me to look for a tip that is made of harder plastic as he's afraid he's going to bite through the 801 cart tip. He, also, flies out of town three days a week for work. So, I'm not there to nag him to keep the atty cool.
-It needs to be light enough that he can hold it in his teeth with no more stress (well maybe a tiny more) than what he has with the 801.
-The cart or carto needs to have room for lots of juice.
-Auto Battery
-An atty or carto that can withstand frequent, repetitive, long draws. Toughest atty and/or carto.
-He really likes the pen style especially as he's been smoking Capri lights for so many years.
Help this granny please. As I was using the resurrection method to clean a bunch of attys this afternoon (two just wouldn't give up the burnt taste), when I should have been doing important paper work, he commented that if it was going to be this much trouble he might go back to analogs. I don't want that. My ol' man has a lot of good frisky years left in him and I want him around as long as possible and as healthy as he is now, despite 55 years of smoking.
