Sorry if this has been answered before, I search the V4L forum but could not find the answer. If it has been answered by V4L, pls direct me to the thread.

I love flavors and if I am looking for answers as to which of the flavors contain Diacetyl and Acetyl propionyl. I lately switched to unflavored because I want to lower the risks as much as possible and right now very few e-liquid vendors provide answers to make a informed decision.

Many on ecf do not care as they feel that anything vaped is better than smoking and that's ok for them as it is a personnal choice. But that's not my opinion, nor is it the opinion of Dr. Kistler's and Dr. Farsalinos, both pro-vaping scientist advocates that stated that those are avoidable dangerous ingredients.

1- Does V4L have any analysis of their juices by independent labs ? if yes where can we find the results ?

2- Does V4L plan to label their e-juices with proper listing of those ingredients that are above already regulated maximum inhaling levels ?

P.S.: I am a very satisfied V4L customer, (both harware and e-juice). I love my 3 Zeus for their-hands free vaping possibility that I could not find so well implemented anywhere else .

    This is V4L forum isn't ? I am a long time V4L customer.

I think this is the proper venue for such a query and I expect this be of interest to everyone, don't you think ?

Yes, this is the V4L forum, but it has changed a lot in the last few months, and it could be a very, very, long time before someone from V4L answers. If ever :(

I think V4L is an ethical and serious business that care for the customers. I would be surprised if no one at V4L monitors THEIR forum on ecf. I am hoping for an answer to this very important question.

For info, here is a link to Russ' Click bang show. One of his guess is Dimitri, The vaping Greek. They are discussing Diacetyl and Acetyl Propionyl. https://soundcloud.com/vp-live/is-suicide-bunny-chock-full-of-diacetyl-the-vapemania-dust-up

This is a +2 hours show, The vaping portion starts at 1h 24min . portion. IMO, it is the best 30 minutes you can invest to be informed about this critical for your health issue.

Dr. Farsalinos reported that + 70% of the + 100 e-juices in his recently published study exceeded the established recommended maximum daily dosage safe for inhaling.

Suicide bunny was the only vendor identified and this was caused because they refuse to answer simple questions from Russ of the Click-bang show. Russ sent two Suicide bunny's e-juices for independent testing. The result is that Suicide bunny is 'chock ful' of Acetyl Propionyl.

While they may be ethical, if you check this forum you will see that other than Steve's recent posts (after many, many months of absence), there hasn't been anyone from V4L who has posted in over a month. Just saying:unsure:

The object here is that most of those studies were made from e-liquids that were labeled as Diacetyl free. The absortion of those compound once burnt in a cigarette may not be the same as when absorbed in a vapor.

What is worse, as The vaping greek mentionned in Cliff Bang's vaping show, most of the tested e-liquids were from vendors that advertise their e-liquids as Diacetyl free. This as he says is FRAUD !

Here is conclusion of the Dr. Farsalisnos' study:

    Conclusions.

DA and AP were found in a large proportion of sweet-flavoured EC liquids, with many of them exposing users to higher than safety levels. Their presence in EC liquids represents an avoidable risk. Proper measures should be taken by EC liquid manufacturers and flavouring suppliers to eliminate these hazards from the products, without necessarily limiting the availability of sweet flavours.

Now if some vendors want to keep putting Diacetyl or Acetyl propionyl, that's fine. But please label your bottles properly.

Edit: Let's not change the subject of this thread please. Otherwise we will never get an answer from V4L to the original questions.

    Hello Everyone -
This is a very serious issue. Our friends at Vapor Digest are running a feature on this very topic in the next issue - and we are told it will be a part of an in depth conversation. I keep saying this - but I am getting this information together for you and will share it very soon.

And yes - we are ethical. But yes - we haven't monitored this forum like we should.

I will be back to you soon.

    Vape on!

    Hello Fellow Vapers -

    Here is promised update.

In general, we have hired a new quality control team to oversee all our products. e-Liquids, batteries and smileomizers. We hope this solves any quality issues that we have had in the past.

As for e-Liquids. We believe that we are Diacetyl free. Everything we use is Diacetyl free. However, we understand that isn't enough and we are testing our liquids. If anyone has any particular flavor concerns - please contact me.

    Best,

    Smilin
