FDA Dick Durbin Trying to force FDA to use PMTA to Outlaw many Vapes

It has been more than one month since PMTA applications were submitted to FDA.

In order to protect public health and uphold the duty to enforce against products on the market that are out of compliance, I urge FDA to immediately publish a comprehensive product listing of all relevant e-cigarette applications received by FDA...

... it is imperative that FDA publicize its list..., so thorough enforcement can quickly follow......"

There are Many Politicians who jumped on the Destroy e-Cigarettes Bandwagon purely as a means for Political Gain.

Dick Durbin isn't one of them.

Dick Durbin truly believes that there are Few Evils greater than Tobacco. A View that was Cemented when his 2PAD Father died of Lung Cancer. Something that left him Scared and Broken.

Where the Real Irony lies is if e-Cigarettes had been Available back then, Durbin's Father might not have Died due to Smoking. But Durbin can't get emotionally passed this. And see's e-Cigarettes as just Another Vehicle of Harm that should/has to be Stamped Out.

It's Sad that Durbin can't see the Benefits that e-Cigarettes Hold. Or that if e-Cigarettes were promoted, with more Reasonable Regulations such as seen in the Liquor Industry, that so many Son's and Daughters wouldn't have to go thru what Dick Durbin went thru.

But He Can't.

Dick Durbin in the Minority Party of the Senate is Scary when it comes to e-Cigarettes and THR. Dick Durbin in the Majority Party is Terrifying.

And I Shutter to think what type of person Durbin would push Biden to appoint to run the HHS and the FDA/CTP.

All began with cigarettes - didn't it ?

Of course it could be traced back even earliers than that, to the very beginning of tobacco use, when tobacco was first promoted as a healer of disease by the Europeans who first used it.

I don't know exactly when cigarettes first were invented
- before them it was basically cigars and pipes. But the 20th Century has a history of certain groups claiming smoking, and especially cigarettes were bad for your health - In 1964 The Surgeon Generals Report showed cigarettes were bad with heavy smkers of 2.5 packs a day or more having 20X the lung cancer rate.

But even then the 1964 report had some interesting anomalies they rarely mention - such as life time pipe smokers, who smoked nothing but pipes, actually outlived non-smokers!

But a cartel, I call them the anti-tobacco nazis was born - At first bent on stopping cigarette smoking, which they failed to do. Still they continued going from lung cancer to disease after disease that they could try to pin on cigarettes - Sort of like Covid 19, if you die and they can detect the virus they will automatically say you died from it, even though that may not be true. Same with cigarettes - If you die of any cancer and you are a smoker they will say it was caused by cigarettes, though that too may not be true.
- This soon extended to pipes and cigars.

Still, these anti-tobacco 'control freaks' have really been standing on shaky ground for a long time
- And vaping was the earthquake that threatened to collapse their house of cards - Their worse nightmare was the invention of a tobacco product that could not be proven harmful - To the anti-tobacco nazi mentality no such product can exist - And for the last ten years or so they have pulled out every dirty trick in the book to discredit vaping, the vaping industry, and you the vaper.

A multi-billionaire control freak politician from the East has spent over a billion dollars anti-tobacco and vapes {you know who I'm talking about] - He doesn't want anyone enjoying tobacco in any form and he could not give a dam how dangerous or safe it is.

Thei type of control freak manipulation of business should be illegal - But 'Citizens United' actually protects this type of crime.

I'll tell you what, give me one billion dollars to burn and I will prove to you, with statistics to back it up that vegetables cause cancer {actually I read some where vegetarians have higher rates
of colon cancer ? }

But vaping is still a big problem - Have they yet to prove that vaping causes any increase of any disease?

So up pops a mysterious lung disease and it looks like they had the smoking gun - First they hyped the amazing epidemic of teenage addiction day after day on the news - and with the new lung disease it looked like the fix was in.

We proved the lung disease was coming from illegal cannabis products - but the damage was done; Vaping was demonized in the eyes of the public and now they are set to restrict and outlaw as much of vaping as possible - Why do I keep imaging that that billionaire control freak was behind the lung disease?
No I can't prove it and even if I could would that stop the anti-tobacco nazis? - No, but it might help.
