Glad you like it! I think it's a wonderfull device, one of the best mods out there.
I just recevied my second Dani extreme, it's a V2 small version I bought at the classifieds, with a 18650 extension tube.....it's still in excellent shape, I don't think they scratch that easy, and a sleeve will ruin it's good looks But if your worried go for it! I'll take my chances, hope I won't regret it
Despite that the V2 doesn't have a springloaded pin the Kabuki sits flush....that had me worried, so very glad it does.

I don't think the 510 Kabuki will go very soon, they seem to sell quite well, but if they do: don't buy all the stock at Cremedevape! ...I need to order one, but have to wait till the SS tanks get back in stock....would hate to see that when they finally get back in stock the Kabuki's will be sold out, LOL

Nah — no sleeve. I have a pouch so will use that when it goes in my purse. No worries as I source mine in the US. I am thinking also about getting the SS tank. Only concern is not being able to see the eliquid level.

To anyone using the Dani Extreme V2+ with a 510 Kabuki, I have had some interesting events the last couple of days. It seems the Dani does not like the positive pin and tends to pull it out (see photo). I did lose one of the pins. If I screw the positive pin in so that it is flush with the bottom of the cap or even slightly recessed, then the problem does not exist. Anyone know what is causing this? The issue now when I go to change out the coil it is so tight in there that I have to loosen the positive pin in order to unscrew the coil. Any solutions? I do not have any issues with my rDNA or Xvo.

Just heard from a local shop owner (only official Dicodes dealer in my country): the dicodes box will be announced pretty soon....and it seems it will be at a lower price point than we are used from them....can't wait!

edit: looked up some pictures of the prototype....and not sure if I like the looks...

I'd be interested in seeing the Dicodes prototype pictures, also. Tried searching in google but the pictures shown weren't for the Dicodes.

ETA: I'm very happy with the 2380T and I'm curious what a Dicodes box mod would look like/feature set.

It's a bit confusing at it also says pipeline...but dicodes and pipeline basicly make the same product (like pipeline pro is the same as dani extreme v2)...so I guess the box will be the same, but just an educated guess

@NotSoMini I have the same issue with one of my Kabuki's...it loses it's pin on the sx mini, but not on the Xvostick....nor on the Dani....weird and a bit annoying, but now I just don't use that particular tank on the SX, it's fine on the other mods, I use one of my other Kabuki's on the SX.

It's annoying but it never caused any issues for me, and I have screwed that thingee back in numerous times.

Have to agree I am not sure about the box Dani. I was hoping something unique. Depending on the price, I may or may not get it. I totally agree with your comment that a Dani v2+ in a xvostick style would sell like hotcakes and I would be first in line

Hope this will shed some light on the subject of the upcoming dicodes stuff...
I just got back from a vaping convention (the first taking place here in Italy actually) where I had the opportunity to speak to a dicodes rep and grab some brochures.
There'll be two boxes coming out at the beginning of December which should be available for purchase (at least in Italy) around December 10th/15th.
One is called "dicodes no 6" and will be a 26650 box, with a new (bigger than the dani) 0.66" display.
The other is called "Dani box", will be single 18650, same screen as the dani.
They both will be 60W, the circuit will be a somewhat improved version of the current one, but basically with the same features (e.g. still no internal on-board thermometer, but I had an interesting discussion with the guy who told me they did some prototyping and ended up finding the current method of assuming a reference 20°C allows for simpler, more reliable and more repeatable performance, and yes, lower price ;-))
One big change is they moved to a more standard 3 buttons based interface, although the menu structure is exactly the same, but now you can use up/down and move forward/backward.
No FW upgradeability, no micro-usb, but a proprietary connector which will make charging possible through a dedicated deck (not clear if that will be included).
I had the opportunity to see both prototypes, and while the 26650 is too big for my tastes, the 18650 feels really nice. Solid, simple and very well machined.

Also, and this is probably even more interesting, they're going to release the "FL80" circuit which will be able to work with 1 or 2 batteries, reaching respectively 60 or 80W, but the rep I spoke with was not directly involved with it so I couldn't get any more info. I'm attaching two photos of the brochures I grabbed there, hope they'll be enough clear for you to see...

Setting my alarm to someday around December 10th, I'm not going to miss the "Dani box"...

Personally I think I'll give it a pass....it's just to generic for me, and not really a fan of the looks....was really looking forward to this and was indeed hoping they would think outside the box, but unfortunatly it doesn't add anything I don't get with my Dani's or SX mini.......aah well at least my wallet is gratefull

But if I didn't own any of these mods it would be another story, it seems an excellent and solid box with many features, so if the price is right I do see a market for this.

Also hope someone will get creative with these boards

Don't get tricked by the photo, I had it in my hands for a few secs and it's really compact. It really didn't feel much bigger than a vs (non r-)dna40 (which I didn't have with me so I couldn't really live-compare though).
