Good deal - shame its not the V2!! But great deal for kanthal use!! Nice mods!

hehe yea V2 would certainly to be good to be true, I would have bought the whole stock if that was the case LOL :D......but I use them with my Kabuki's on the Nauti 1.8 coils so 20W is plenty....

Nice setup!! How you finding the kabuki. I have heard mixed reports but I get the impression you are very keen on them!

oooh yes I am, just received my 4th one (well actually 1 is my girlfriends), together with Gobin mini it is only thing I use anymore. It's the only really troublefree tank I have experienced yet, and the flavor is amazing.
Here is a quick pic on the dicodeses (one with SS tank) (posted it also already in the Kabuki thread...so a repost :D)....I think they are a match made in heaven :)

I use the Goblin on them when I want to get freaky with wires and stuff :)

@TheotherSteveS —I use the Kabuki tanks exclusively between my Dani Extreme v2+, rDNA40 and Xvo because I like them so much (I have five of them). On the Dani though it seems like it does not like the Kabuki for me but @drugarth does not have this issue. The Dani likes to pull the positive pin out of the Kabuki and it does not matter which Kabuki I use as it happens on all of them. You can see the picture I uploaded on the previous page. The one on the left the positive pin pulled out completely and of course was immediately lost whereas the one on the right was partially pulled out. I find this a very strange behavior. The so-called 510 spring loaded connection on my Dani is non-existent. The Xvo has a fixed 510 connection and I do not have this issue using the Kabuki. I did send a message to Dicodes yesterday morning however I have not heard back.

Interesting...I don't have that issue with the Kabuki on the 2380. What are the differences between the Dani V2+ and the 2380 (aside from the dual battery ability of the 2380)? Is the Dani lighter?

2380 is 23mm vs 22 for the Dani's. Pretty similar otherwise although 2380 comes with more battery options out of the box.

The Dani Extreme v2+ is 510 spring loaded and what I received is not spring loaded so not sure what I bought.
You bought the V2 not the V2+ in that case. V2 has a fixed 510. Other differences are pretty minimal except for wire presets in the UI that, I think, were added in the V2+ although I may be wrong!

Yes the V2 is not springloaded, the V2+ is. But keep in mind it's a very strong spring...I had to push pretty hard with the "screwdriver check" to get it moving. Also the V2+ has some more wire presets than the V2, so you could check that in the menu to see what version you have.
It should be under the HCtrl menu.....on the V2+ it gives you the options under HCtrl1 to choose wire type, where the V2 does not (there I beleive the only option is to set TCR in the "Heater" menu)
Also see manuals on:
dicodes Mods: Dani Extreme V2+ - dicodes-mods.com
vs
Dicodes Dani Extreme V2 - dicodes-mods.com

And the V2 is a bit shorter (2mm orso), but that's hard to check if you only have one device.

OK. Been lurking in here for a while and I am seriously considering buying either the 2380 or the extreme V2+. Given the price difference though I have to ask if the additional functionality of the 2380 (stacking up batteries to reach 80 watts) justifies the difference in price; especially since I have an SX m class on the way. What do you guys think?
