It sure is - I haven't weighed it yet but I reckon, in 1x18650 mode, it's as heavy as my VaporFlask clone with 2x18650. I did a comparison with one in each hand and it felt about the same.

bicep curls into the bargain. vape and work out at the same time. Maybe we should roll out a company mate?!?!

My two Dicodes 2380 that left Spain on Monday arrived today in Chicago. Fedex International Economy in 2 days.

Doesn't feel all that heavy in 1x18490 mode compared to my ProVari V2 or P3. Feels so nice in my hand.

I actually love the interface. Set it and forget it.

Bought a spool of ResisTherm to play with tonight.

Serial [HASHTAG]#183[/HASHTAG] on the one I opened, haven't opened the second one yet.

Where did you order yours from btw?

On a side note...

OK guys regarding °F I have unfortunately confirmed that the offset error does effect the configured temperature. So when you configure, say, 350°F it will display it reaching 380°F and this is because it did indeed reach 380°F; it's not just a screen display issue.

As was suggested earlier, it's simply a missing +/- 30° offset, so you can use °F if you set the temperature you want to use 30°F lower than the value you actually want. That will result in a value 2°F higher than your desired temp, which is more than close enough.

A big shame but it is usable if you can put up with that - and presuming either your TempDown works, or you can put up with that as well.

Also be aware that switching from °C to °F and vice versa will also offset your configured temperature by + or - 30° respectively.

I assume most of you will switch to °C which is any case the best option - come join us with our fancy linear modern measurements ;)

ProVapeo.com held two for me on request and hooked me up VAT free. Great company and they kept emailing me throughout the shipping process.

Also bought a spool of ResisTherm/Dicodes Wire in the same order.

Thank you for this! I'm contacting them. I saw their website, didn't look all that professional and I didn't give them a chance. Awesome, thanks again.

Fernando at ProVapeo@provapeo.com even answered late night in Spain every time I emailed. Seriously great vendor. I have zero affiliation with them. Found them on Google and took a risk -- Paypal accepted too.

It's a heavy mod. At least I know that it makes a great self defense weapon if someone tries to steal it from my hands. I feel bad for anyone who tries to steal this mod from someone.

If you beat someone to death with a Dicodes, I bet they die happy though.

Haha true - as Vaping420 has on his intro "Do you even sub-ohm, bro?"

And what do you need for weights? Good grips! Which coincidentally, is what I received this morning

From Aurora VapeUK. I had heard of them a couple of times, most recently when Busardo added them to his review queue. That made me jump on them, figuring there would be a huge backlog/delay once he publiciesed them.

I was sick and tired of attys getting stuck on mods, bits of attys getting stuck together, the wrong part unscrewing, etc. And more to the point, sick of scratching them when I have to pull out some pliers. I hope this wlil make life a lot easier.

As well as enable me to bench press my 2380 in 2x18650 of course ;)

I think you might need a spotter.

But seriously, to me this mod's weight feels perfect and solid. I'm a pretty bulky guy so the mod feels like a feather to me, a feather that can put a crater in the concrete that is.

It's Sexy Time!

Built my Rose v2 clone for the first time tonight. Makes a good looking topper for The Tube!

Titanium 26G, pre-pulsed to blue, micro-ish coil reading 0.47Ω on the Dicodes - 9 or 10 wraps I can't remember.

215°C, 32W, TCRS of 350 - I've not attempted to adjust for SR as yet, it's good enough on the default!

@funkyrudi - you were right, not too complicated in the end! I quite like the coil legs going straight down to be fixed, with no posts - a good idea. What I don't like is how you have to bend the wick all funny to get each side to cover two juice holes. That's annoying, I don't get why it doesn't just have one bigger one.

It's tight as tight can be but looks great and flavour is good.

First, in 350 - how I'm vaping it right now; I'm increasingly liking the compactness of this mode, at least when I can be near spare batteries at all times!

And then 650:

.685 ah on the 18350 that's rated 800 mah. The resting voltage was 3.1v. Been vaping it at 16 watts with no boost.

Wow that's good, I only got 525 on my 800mah. But I'm generally at 32W into 0.40Ω - 0.50Ω, at least 8A. It's TC so that will drop throughout the vape, but it's likely to be over 20W the vast majority of the time.

Just got 615mah on my second 350 - not quite sure if it's the same 350 again or the other one, as I had re-charged the first prior to re-use. I've now numbered them to see if I'm getting different capacities or if it was just different usage.

How long was that in real time? Just over an hour :) I was chain vaping it though.

615mah is pretty good, but I had to set 2.5V Min Batt to achieve that. @IanDVaypes is yours still on default of 2.7V? In which case that's excellent - what batteries are those? Although I suppose it could be less the batteries and more the 16W.

Im using the new aw 18350 batteries. 12 amps and 800 mah. Using it at 16 watts sure helps. I'm sure that you can get more out of your batteries if you lowered your wattage after you get the low battery warning.
