Seriously that thing is a weapon! Its built like the proverbial brick sh1th0us3 and I bet a wap upside the head would hurt somewhat. Also would probably dispatch a plain ball over the plate into deep left field....gone!

edit: that was, apparently, my 3000th post here....I need to get a life...seriously!

Of coarse this was answered here but I had messaged Dicodes about "power boost" in temperature mode before hand, here is their answer
"Powerboost is a single operation and does not work together with temperature controlled vaping. Please have also a look at our manual, where the powerboost is explained in detail"

I post this over in the Aromamizer thread, maybe better suited here.

70 watts, dual clapton's. This is not how I use it..length or atty...just for show but it does work well

Just got my hands on a Dani Extreme V2+ (18650) today.
Gotta say, after using DNA40 box mods the past few months, I'm quite impressed with this so far. :)
Presently having to set the temp for my Ti coils at around 520f on the Dani for a same-ish vape, whereas on the DNAs I was at 360, so I'm a little confused there. But other than that smooth sailing at the moment!
(If anyone can chime in as to why there's such a disparity in temp feel free, I was expecting to be around 450f. Yes, TCR is 350.)

TCR for Ti in the range we use is nearer 37 which is what I use. Certainly the 35 used by dicodes is erroneous.

I'm set to 350 using Ti @ 235C, plenty hot enough for me and DNA 200 is my main squeeze.
sure! Steam Engine uses 36.6, dicodes suggests 35. From what I can tell the higher number is the better estimate but 35 vs 37 wont make a huge difference. If it works, dont fix it!!! :)

I actually think it's hotter than it should be.
Edit: So which is hotter, 35 or 37?

I have a question: today after a battery swap my dani extreme v2+ wouldn't power up again. I tried several batteries but no joy.
I tried to clean the battery contact inside the mod cause it looked like there was some sort of residu on it. After this it powered up again.
But as the circuit board is right below it without protection it seems, I wonder what the best method is to clean it without risc of damaging those circuits.

Maybe an earbud with a little bit of IPA?? That wouldnt hurt the board...

When my Taifun GSL clone arrives (couple more days) I'm going to coil it with the Unkamen NiFe52 which is probably Invar 36 and put it on my Dicodes. I can run it in either temp mode or power mode that way. I have this idea that maybe power boost is more important to me than temp control. I have no stainless wire.

Ive been tempted to stick a kanthal build on the dicodes just to play with all the heater control stuff. Apparently it is really cool and you can get an almost TC-like vape if you set it up correctly! Let us know how it goes!!

OK, it's going to be here today, that's 8 days from FT (from acceptance).
