I tried several refreshes, and nothing ever happened for me! Tried again an hour or so later, and got a bunch of errors! I knew the site would be swamped and that I may not get my order in the first day. "I'm not a web designer" but, I am in the computer field and know a few REALLY good web designers! No one I talk to understands alien Visions "Vision!"...... or why things have taken so long in the first place. I'm a business owner, and I have had credit card and website issues. I switched to a different credit card processing company, and was taking credit cards again in a little over a week. Yeah, they had to rebuild the website and that takes some time... so lets say a month! You have a huge following... it's so good, and been so long that people are trying to clone it. But, to go back to a site, and it is DOWN AGAIN scares me to the point of not ordering at all! Did they get hacked again already? Is alien Vision trying to host a server out of the living room? I wouldn't be nearly as unhappy if they had the website up I guess... and it just said out of stock for the day. Ok, that's my rant for the day! Sorry! I'll try again tomorrow.... against my better judgement!

EDIT! I'm not even sure what the prices are....... but just in case of hacks, credit card fraud.... I'm going to put enough on a pre-paid credit card today, that way I don't get hammered!

I was up at 7:45 and refreshing very often. I got in a few times...almost got through checkout twice but got OWNED every time. I think I need a dedicated T1 connection or something to get through.

Everything else you stated has been running through my head all day....just doesn't make sense.

Well, I got a confirmation email from AVE, and it seems like the funds were deducted from my account, but I got the error message that a lot of other people got (like the cc processor took out the money but was unable to communicate with AVE).

So, am I basically looking at a refund in a few days, just like the last refund fiasco?

Maybe I'll make the Aliens an offer to buy the recipe...an offer they can't refuse, I'll make up some 50 gallon drums of the precious juice, pretty much they should have been doing for quite awhile.

Doesn't matter if they had a supertanker full of Juice parked off the coast of LA, the website and cc processing people he has working for him suck hairy donkey nutz.

Ben will get it all worked out.

Yeah, you can pretty much be certain that even if AVE has months of stock ready to sell, Bobas Bounty and Gorilla Juice will be sold out in a hurry. Many of the hardcores will buy stockpiles by way of 100 or 200mls at a time. In fact, you'd have to imagine that anyone trying to make a buck will buy as much as possible and attempt to exploit those desperate souls who would slap their grandma for 2ml's of it. Still others, out of fear of another closure or shortage, will stock up for insurance reasons. I'm sure that AVE is aware of the publics insane desire for their juice, thus there is a LOT of money to be made. I'm sure they could gouge people for fun and charge $5 per ml and they would still sell out in 10 mins. Anyways, I've never tried it, so I can't speak first hand. I think the fact that its so hard to come by adds to the mystique. Like chasing the white whale. I do wish the best for everyone wanting some BB. Seems like if AVE could have a limit, say 60ml per person per order, than some might have a shot. For all I know, there could be 150,000 gallons of Boba's Bounty just waiting to be sold and vaped. Good luck!!

Now you know why Steve Jobs went to CHINA when he needed the glass for the iPhone manufactured. US manufacturers were unable to deliver in the (reasonable) time frame required and cusotmary to global business practices nowadays.

BTW, there are some pretty good DIYers here on ECF who can make some pretty nice juice "clones". :) I've had a few now.

But as I've said, I dont leave 'em when they're down, if and when AVE gets up and running normal again, I will still patronize them. Just not gonna compete in the "rush"

Well said. I just sat back and watched today, and will do the same till the bugs are all worked out.
This is the exact thing that went on after they moved.
It's like watching a $5 hdtv sale on Black Friday...

If you tried to buy .22lr ammo in February you went thru this (well in March, April and May too). People were paying up to 50 cents a round - $25 for a 50 round box that could be got last year for about $3 at Walmart.

I'm the same with Bobas, I will try it again, I will buy some, but I am not going to be first, fiftieth or even five thousandth in line. I'll get some eventually, when it suits me and at a price that is right for me to pay.

(as an aside, 22lr can now be got for between 12 and 18 cents a round depending on type and manufacturer - I sure hope those that were buying 5000 round cases for almost $3000 (of .22!!! lol like really) enjoy staring at their stash and feel quite silly)

It's 25% off this week. If they can keep the web site up long enough to sell it. I'm hoping they get it fixed tonight!

I know what happened...the site opened, their server exploded when inundated with orders, and pieces of computer shrapnel sliced into the barrels of Boba's...spilling every drop that we've all been waiting patiently for...and some of us not so patiently.

Not like my opening comment in this thread was a big stretch by any means...but I pretty much called this one.
