Boba's Hoarders - the OG vaping Preppers. If this guy is making money hand over fist, why can't he hire a decent Web staff??

It could be a more complex issue involving cabling or netops, or perhaps their interface with their CC processor or shopping cart provider, etc.

Putting up a web page and designing it isn't rocket science ---- but most web page designers don't do all the other work too.

I hope they get it staightened out, I'm sure they will. Keep in mind that AVE, when they first got word that their customers were being hacked, literally went right to work to figure it out. My CC got hacked and I had not shopped there on that card. AFAIC, the vendors I did use on that card probably didn't miss a beat in sales. I really have to applaud AVE for taking the initial problem as SERIOUSLY as they did.

a question ... since i see so many ppl hooked to boba bounty (even i'm thinking of getting hooked to bb or hype) .. has anyone tried other stores where they sell boba? i mean, there are other merchants who sell alien visions boba bounty and hype and other stuff ...

if u've recently purchased bb at some other store and are happy with ur purchase, cud u recommend it? would appreciate your help. thanks.

I'll have an update later today but let me give you some idea of what is going on.

The website was tested yesterday and the coding... did well. The server wasn't so lucky. The server was well below the threshold for what specifically asked for. Main point, it wasn't the dedicated server we asked for. This issue was "taken care of" so far into the beginning of this build process I failed to revisit it and give it the attention it deserved.

Now, the website is very much offline as GoDaddy switches us from an Economy shared server plan with 100 connections to the dedicated server we wanted at the start. The most aggravating part being that it may take days to get the website back up.

All of our information is still on the website, invoices and charged orders. Every charged order,even if you received an error message, will be processed. I only need to see what order numbers were paid for and I can adjust their status to "processing" if they aren't already. Mostly, I just want access to the invoices so that I can get my new wookies working on orders today.

For now there is no timeline on when the store will be open. Rest assured, when it does become available soon, we will be processing and shipping orders.

All this site down thing means that the vaping market is not large enough, because if it is, vendors would not have turned their site down, unless they don't care to make more money. You can have backup orders but never should have a site down.

Unfortunately for Alien Visions and the customers that were affected by the CC fraud a mandated shutdown and restructure was required I believe, I'm just not sure they're using the best tools available to get back online ASAP.
I agree 78...e-commerce sites should be up and running 24/7, with the ability to take in cash non-stop, even if that requires backordering certain products, closing your sales department daily is kinda crazy.
They could also do what a few others have done with their most popular products...limit the purchase quantities and keep more of your loyal customer base happy.
Anyway...I hope for their bank accounts sake they get their daily website closures squared away, and a distant memory once the smoke...I mean vapor clears.

I'm scratching my head... Would you continue to pull your car up to a gas station that was out of gas? Would you go to a coffee shop without coffee? Really just move on there are plenty of juice suppliers that offer great juice and actually have working Web sites..

My car doesn't care what I put in it...and Starbucks is always open when I need it to be, and if I had found a juice that I enjoyed as much as I do Boba's I'd be using it, doesn't take much effort to check their site a couple times a day. Interesting that you posted a comment on a topic/product your not interested in, I think your trying to move us off it so you can hoard it, a closet Boba's lover Bunker, I know.

Be patient and keep trying. It IS possible to get Boba's Bounty.

Tip: If you're on the east coast or EST, their site opens at 11:00 AM. Register if you haven't already, and go to the Tobacco tab. Click on Boba's Bounty (or Gorilla Juice) and add it to you cart.

Hit F5 (refresh) if you get errors. Keep spamming F5. You're competing with thousands of other Boba fiends, so try to be quick about it.
