Did anyone else have this moment opening up your first ProVari box?

The way I opened up the box, the last thing to come out was the ProVari and as soon as I grabbed it I got a little confused. I pull out the ProVari and the first thing that goes threw my mind when I take the bubble wrap off is... THAT'S IT? Not because I was disappointed or anything like that, but the device looks so much larger in all the pics and vids I have seen. It was so bad the second thought I had was.. Did they goof and send me a Mini?

I have look at the same pics/vids I did before and it still looks larger then what I am holding in my hands right now. At the end of the day I am glad it's the size it is because it is actually just ever so slightly smaller then the set-up I was using. So I'm not complaining about that. However it is a good bit smaller then I thought it was going to be, especially in the diameter of it.

Then I slapped it all together and vaped it. This thing is awesome. Because I have control over dialing in the voltage the ProVari is giving me a better vape then the couple of mechs I have got to try in the past. I've read before that the battery doesn't matter it is all the delivery device. I call BS, the vape is so clean and smooth even when comparing the safe clearo on a different APV. I am still blown away by it and I've been vaping for over half a day on it now. There is defiantly something with that flat power signal and the way it delivers power to the atomizer it is a much better vape then I have ever had before.

Again, agreed.

No, I didn't have the same reaction. I read the specifications on the PV prior to buying it so I knew how big it was. And I really love the mini. Don't get a purple one though. Their purple is a weird purple. Other than that, it's my favorite PV so far. I'm not a collector so I haven't tried too many different ones. Don't really have to since I have two of them.

Yeah, looking at the specs and the pictures you kinda get two different things. I guess the actual visual is just easy to picture even if I wasn't the one holding it.

I would have been happy with a mini. Just as long as the sent me the rest of the kit, because everything else I ordered for it as for the full size model.

And I am loving the looks. I finally have something to accessorize with I am so going to be the envy of all the boys down at the gun range with my black ProVari and my AR. The just go so well together.

That would be the best.. err maybe worst throat hit I will ever have. Also that last.

You got me thinking though. I best with an ajustable buttstock I could mod a mini inside the hole for the recoil tube. My full size with an extension cap and Vivi nova just hangs outside of it... I know because I just slide it in there to see if it would fit.

For me "size matters".

Aside from build quality and performance it was #3 on my list. In the summer I have to carry my stuff around in my jeans pocket and while other VV pv's seem to be in a race to outdo themselves by getting bigger and bigger, the fact that I can comfortably stick a Provari in my pocket without it poking me where I don't like to be poked is priceless.

Haha, I had the same thought when I got my first ProVari as well, it just seemed smaller. I was also a little disappointed with the packaging, after all the thought I put into it, review reading and finally shelling out all that dough, I sort of expected a little band and a confetti parade to be inside that box!

When I cleared the bubble wrap, which concealed my first ProVari Mini, I was very pleasantly surprised by the size. I thought that it was going to be a bit bulkier. The initial weight of the Mini was a shocker, as well, as I held it for the very first time. This is a very solid and well built APV, needless to say.

The good news is I have another new Mini waiting for me when I head back to the Bay Area in a couple of weeks.

I was a little surprised at the size too. But I was coming from an Infinity pro, with 2 14430's. I love that the Provari is shorter. You guys think it's tough to fit a mod in your pocket, you should check out the shallow pockets they are putting in women's clothes. I have some that I can't even fit my fingers in, and I have small hands.

No purple is a bad purple in my book. Lovin' my purple Provari. :)
