Got my 510 on a Monday. Smoked 2 analogs that day, 2 analogs the next, then 1 each day for the next couple of days. Each one tasted a little worse than the last. After that, I quit analogs altogether. So, I overlapped for a few days, then quit altogether. For me, that initial period was basically learning to trust the 510 to deliver the nicotine that I was craving. Once I got past that, no more analogs.

It was my plan to stop alltogether when i got my PV.. i realized the battery life was junk. so i orderd many extras 10 batterys and 10 attys right off the get go.

I wasnt sure how i was going to do.. but after going out Ice fishing/drinking 1 night and not having a smoke and the next night out at the bar just vapin.. i knew it would be okay.. i still have 1/2 pack of mabs sitting on the table. been there for a few ;-) YEA IF I ONLY HAD 1-2 batts from the start id still be smoking.. when a battery only last like 4 cigs before its dead

I have takin 2 puffs of a smoke 1 the first week and 1 the other day.. just to see.. cause i still kinda have a craving for a real smoke.. but man they taste so bad.. forget them.

I'm still on one first thing and one straight after work, but 2wks on and I've ordered a third battery and feel more comfortable filling the cartridges. I've kept with the RN4081 super mini as it's the one that looks and feels most like a real cigarette. The marlboro high strength seems to be enough of a 'hit' and I don't feel like I'm depriving myself this way-hopefully I can phase out the need for these 2 real ones in time. I'm not feeling guilty though-2 a day is such an improvement on the masses of rolling tobacco I was going through. I'd tried every quit method over the years and this is definitely the best yet! Good luck to us all and THANKYOU to all contributors on this forum-you've helped a lot of people and I wish I'd found you all sooner.xxx

I haven't touch a tobacco product since receiving my first e-cig on 5th December. Up until then I was, at my worst, a 40 a day smoker for more than 44 years. I have lost my smoker's cough, husky voice; I can laugh again without having a coughing fit and sing in the bath!

I've tried most of the available NRT products and found them useless - I even smoked whilst using them.

I bought a pen style a year ago and used it very infrequently, mostly where smoking was prohibited. I bought a 510 a month ago and cut back to 2-3 analogs a day. 7 days ago I built my first Mini-Maglite mod and can say I haven't touched an analog since! I don't even have the desire to.

Although this morning I have a lot more energy and it kind of feels like anxiety. I'm curious if I were to have an analog if it would go away, but I'm doing so well I don't want to test it.

If your on the fence with the quitting process I highly suggest trying a HV mod. The mini-mag is giving me hot drags like an analog and the nic hit is much higher than my 510. The first couple drags off it and my head was spinning like the first time I smoked at 12 yrs old, I've since started cutting my juice with some vg.

Mini-Maglite mod with 510 battery connect + 510 to 808/901 adapter + 808 cartomizer = heavenly

I did not quit analogs immediately. I had my products from cignot before i really bagan vaping every/every other day in small amounts. Towards the end on January I started vaping more than I smoked. Before i really knew it i was down to 9-11 analogs a day. Down from 20-30 analogs a day February 5, 2010 in the early afternoon was my last analog. Still vaping strong and analog free for 5 days. I know it does not compare to some where they have been off analogs for a long time. But I guess we all have to start somewhere from day 1. And the funny thing is the only bad days were Sat and Sun the 6th and 7th of February.

I also still catch myself at times after meals especially where if I am walking out to the garage I think to myself time for a smoke. I pick up my ecig instead. And after vaping for a bit the urge is gone. Can not really call it a craving anymore. Vaping some Forbidden right now from the good ladies at Cignot.

Been tobacco free for almost 11 months. I noticed the not coughing first thing in the morning, about 2 to 3 weeks in. Coughing up the residual garbage didn't start, for me, for about 6 months. A coworker of mine found the stages the lungs go through to repair themselves after someone quits smoking. I'm not sure where, but it's on the internet somewhere. It can vary from person to person, but there is an average out there. Sorry I can't tell you all where to find it.
