Exact same thing with me!
If you really want to quit real cigs, it will happen, just don't force it. Don't beat yourself up for lighting up.
40+ years of lighting up the real thing, I bought my first pv just to try, possibly cut back on smoking the real thing. After 1 week, the real thing tasted nasty. So, I'm an accidental non-smoker now.
I've have one really bad experience...urge to smoke a real cig, but puffing on a couple of pvs pretty much at the same time for just a few minutes, killed that urge to light up.
Higher nic juice will also help overcome those "I gotta have a real smoke" urges.
Almost 6 months smoke free tomorrow & I"m down to 12mg nic liquid.
Until August 15th of 2009 I smoked one and a half to two packs a day for 42 years. When I was Googling less expensive RYO tobacco I stumbled across a reference to electronic cigarettes. After more Googling I located this Forum.
I loved smoking, but purchased a kit out of sheer curiosity. After firing up my PV I accidentally quit smoking completely. There was no looking back, and I don't miss it a bit.
