Did I do well buying a VAMO v2 kit?

OEM Gift Box (not even sure what OEM means)
Instruction Manual

I just placed my order and wondered if I did alright.

I would possibly buy another 18650 battery unless the single one will get you though a day. It probably will; That depends on a lot of variables. Just charge it at night when you're sleeping. I think you did good. I've owned more than one Vamo, and that is an awesome APV. You have ejuice, right?

Yes why not? The vamo is a nice device but prob if you searched hard and long you would have found it a bit cheaper...
How much more days you want to spend searching for saving 5 bucks though?
You will very likely end up buying more stuff anyway .. More clearos, more batteries, more of everything

Do not charge that battery in your sleep or when away from home. I know they are probably protected, but its better safe than sorry.

Great deal! The VAMO is a good device. I had one and sold it off to justify buying a Provari. I'll eventually have another. A must have for any collection!

Very nice! I agree with ArmyBird though--you need another battery. Make sure that your charger turns itself off when the battery is charged. If it doesn't, don't charge your batteries overnight and use a charging bag. You can get those things later.

Just fine indeed. My experience with the Vamo is limited but it's incredibly popular and an awesome APV by all accounts. As mentioned, it's likely you will end up buying more of everything as you go... because you will WANT to.

Just got my vamo v2 as well, my first vv/vw device. For $29 being able to check resistance and voltage is a nice bonus. Strangely I can't remove the extension tube to put it into 18350 mode, anyone else ever experience this?

Yeah the Vamo is a good one. The charger and batt are prolly not the best. Here's a great kit with upgraded batts and charger:

Good idea to have backups so you don't have to wait for hours starring at the charger waiting for the light to change and not being able to vape.

BAD idea leaving the charger unattended. This doesn't mean you have to babysit it, but at least for the first few cycles it's wise to keep a close eye on it. Go touch the battery while it's charging about once an hr on the hr. It should never get HOT, mildly warm is ok, and the same goes for the charger, although depending on the unit, some may get warmer than others.

I bought 2 one for me and one for the wife her's had same issue they must have over tightened it when they made it I wrapped end with a small towel and then was able to take a pair of pliers and remove it works perfect now as my wife loves full size at work and then stealth size at home so bat gets charged.

I only have a v4l dial-a-volt right now so the vamo is a big step up for me.
I'll let you know how the vamo treats me when I get it.

I would suggest at least one 18350 battery so you can ise it in shorty mode.

I would have gotten the 18350 batteries and used two of them (so you would need 4 total). It's the only way the Vamo reaches it's full potential. Here is where I got mine due to the brand and FREE shipping:
