Did I kill the cartomizer?

Got the 510 2.0 cartomizers from nHaler today, of course cant wait to try it. I dont know if i did something wrong, i am using it with the joye ego.

I use the condom method, about 15 drops to fill up the carto. At first it was okay, then after about 5 minutes when i press the button on the ego there is way too much vapor(i think) coming out from the mouth end and also vapor from the battery connection . Then another 3 minutes passed, i think the carto is dead, there is no more vapor, nothing. Did i kill it?

CoughingBad, you don't have condom fill those, You should be able to remove the rubber cap and just drip down the insides of the carto, It is a soft cap isnt it?

Yes it is a soft cap, and i did think about just dripping the juice in the carto. But when i remove the cap and look inside, I wasnt sure how and whether it is okay to just drip in there when there is a center ring of something i was afraid to damage it. So did i kill it because i condomed it?!?

15 drops isn't enough to fill the carto... Soak it good with 20-25 drops.

Was smoke or vapor coming out?

If you run it dry, it will burn out.

Yes, lots of vapor came out when i pressed the button, it was like a stream of condensed vapor, it came out from the mouth end, and was making sizzling noise, that normal?

You might have burned that one out due to lack of juice on the element, try another one with more juice driped in from the top.

You will hear a slight sizzle, but it shouldnt shoot a stream of vapor. give it another try with about 20 drops from the top.

OKay, just tried to drip from the top, and after a few drops the juice came out from the threaded end. Does that mean its full and i should stop? But i only put in a few maybe 4,5 drops.

Is there another rubber gizmo in there after the top one... If so, it needs to be removed

What zen said, and make sure to drip around down the insides of the carto so it soaks into the filler material.

Ok, so i think the carto is dead, i dripped quite a bit of juice (darn it, wasted the juice) in it and it just is lifeless....

And thats not the end, I put the original carto back in there (the mega xl carto) just to see if the battery is okay. It was okay, but then for watever reason when i tried to remove the mega carto, it wouldnt come off i had to pull it and in the process, I also destroy the mega carto.

So i killed two cartos in 30 minutes

I dont think there is another rubber stuff in there, i see some cotton like thing i suppose thats the filler (right?!?) And the center of the filler is a hole, so should i refill the juice in the hole? I dont think i can avoid it anyways, i just put the juice in without avoiding the hole.

Not in the hole just go around the inside edges of the carto so the juice is dispersed into the cotton filler. That should do it.

Yep, what mauzey said. get at least 20-25 drops in there initially and dont over tighten that carto... You'll break it removing it... Oh.... Too late

top drip.Spin it.Its common to get a bad carto in my experience. Usually 1 out of every pack of 5"boge"

Tip the carto like you're pouring a beer... Slowly drip in the 25 drops while Turning it for best coverage... Avoid the hole, if you hit it, the juice will go right through... Take your time

Well i hope that was the only one.

At this point I dont know if i like the boge any better than the mega xl carto i have. I was really hoping they will give me the punch thats missing from the mega, or maybe its the juice,dunno, i guess the experiment goes on...
