Meet Me in St Louie Louie
I'll be sure and be much more specific in the future in order to avoid the hint of mis-information .. LF refers to Liberty Flights .. and from my research, is the best deal right now on this specific unit .. corrected post below ..

I have been using my LF Riva 510 Kit now since Friday .. I used an njoy for almost 90 days before taking the advice of many on the Forum and spending the $30.00 on this unit and a pack of Boge Cartomizers .. as well, I bought some liquid from Backwoods Brew ..

There is a world of difference from the njoy to the LF Riva 510 .. it is so liberating to not need to constantly recharge a battery .. the njoy would last maybe 2-3 hours, the LF Riva 510 I charged on Friday afternoon and it lasted till I went to work on Monday morning ..

As well, the LF Riva 510 produces substantially more vaper and seems to taste much better ..

The choice of carto over atty I now understand .. it seems the carto will last much longer, and is much less hassle .. the atty seems to last maybe 4-6 puffs before a refill is needed .. I am now thinking about trying to drip, just don't know for sure ..

Great fast advice good is such a great thing, it brings back every memory of why this site is the only one in my life that I have supported with funds(my money). The most important thing for me was the knowing that cigs where over and done , once I had puffed on a vaperizer and knew they were better for me in everyway, taste , throat hit, vape health, and etc. This might not be for all but the success rate does tell a good story.Hope your journey is fast and painless. enjoy.

For me spot on Uncle Willie on the battery life(one of my best friends names was Uncle Willie and I still do not know why, he wasn"t an uncle)To not know when your pv will die of power is paramount to stability.

I'm new to the forum, but was using PV's before I found this place.
Due to the good advice found here, i bought a Riva last night from Liberty Flights. The small kit was 32.50 out the door. That included shipping.

A 510 is a battery. It comes in many types and sizes now- Regular and Mega(longer battery) are interchangeable with regular sized cartomizers(carto's). A regular carto is 3.0 Oam's.
The Riva and Ego use the same size cartos as the 510 battery. BUT the cartos also come in a more powerful size not recommended for the regular 510 battery. THATS the Low Resistance(LR) they are referring to. IT is typically around 2.0 Oam's. You CAN use LR on a regular battery but its not recommended- it uses twice the battery power, if not more.

If you want the cigarette sized PV for in public, get a spare 510 mega battery and a few 3.0 cartos for it. It will save you shipping later. They can be found for around $8-12.

I was a 3 PAD smoker when I quit. After cigars, I forgot about TH, but heavy flavor was needed. One of the juice suppliers actually makes a "red" tobacco flavor. I dont know how good it is, but someone here can prolly tell you. To save yourself time and money, you may want to get 36mg nicotine first, and also get a small bottle of "0" nicotine to go with it. As you use the juice, you can add the 0 nic to bring it down to where you need it.
There are 3 options for delivery of nicotine into the battery: Cartomizers, Atomizers combined with cartridges, or dripping.

Cartomizers can be different ways. You can buy them prefilled with the flavor of your choice. You can either buy and add your own juice if you chose(cheaper method), or throw them away and use a new one each time it runs out. You can also buy them "blank" AKA empty and fill them with the juice yourself. Filling cartos is easy, so dont pass this one up if you envision otherwise.

Atomizer with cartridge(atty's and cart's)- The atty is the warming unit that changes the liquid into a vapor. It connects the battery to the cart. The cart holds the liquid the same was as the carto, same options.

Dripping involves putting a few drops of your juice directly on the atty.

Riva and Ego use interchangeable parts. Charger can be used on either. So if you get one and want to try the other, you could always buy a used battery from the classifieds. You would not need a whole new kit.

If you go with a RIva or Ego, I suggest starting with the 2 batteries, and getting a spare for back or to keep at work or in the car. Batteries can fail at any time, or be lost/damaged. Dont put yourself in a position to justify going back to smoking...

Hope this helps. My $.02.

Years ago I gave up smoking 3 PAD's. Then I started Cigars....

Well, you're still going to run out of power at some point. That's why you get two in a kit. If you find yourself negligent keeping them both charged, you might look into a USB passthrough battery with your next purchase. Regardless, with the fatter battery you won't be charging them several times a day.

My omission maybe, but to have to carry two and believe you may use it on a regular basis is unacceptable to me.A passthru is only good for a person that is connected all the time(no disrepect)size may not matter(haha) but duration sure does.

True for a normal PT, but a PT battery can be disconnected from USB and used just like any other battery.
