Gender preferences and roles change from culture to culture based on how you are told to act. Where people are getting caught up is in thinking sex and gender are interchangeable and they just aren't.

No. In the vast majority of cultures, including our own, sex and gender are used interchangeably because the male is expected to equal masculinity and the female is expect to equal femininity. In some fringe groups, those expectations aren't held and can become confused. For example. I once visit with some papua new guinea pygmies who were cross dressers and those guys did a hell of a Liza Minnelli impersonation, just much much shorter.

"Sex" refers to the biological and physiological characteristics that define men and women.

"Gender" refers to the socially constructed roles, behaviours, activities, and attributes that a given society considers appropriate for men and women.

The text under her pic on that link speaks of "our center spread," so I'm assuming this is how they run the mag. It IS an auto or tattoo magazine. Still not offended. all's I'm sayin' is gimme a vape map about vaping and add more Vaping to the 10 pages used to show something I can get at home. Or in the mirror lol.

I saw a pic like that once, actually... a real hunk reclining in bed with something between a cigalike and an eGo/clearo, bare-chested, sheet pulled up to his waist. No idea where that was, but somewhere on *this site*, I'm pretty sure. One of the ladies here demanding equality in eye-candy, I think.

vaping and hot women? yes please. Sex does sell and im not ashamed that I would buy that magazine as a first buyer or continue to buy it if I was already a reader. The only reason I would not continue to buy that magazine is if after I bought it and it had horrible vaping content. If the articles are quality, I wouldn't mind pictures of beautiful women in it as well. But if the articles are crap, the beautiful women just make it even more crap. That's who I am, and if you dont like it then sucks for you.

I can go along with that. My husband used to take Playboy magazine -- which was fine with me, because they not only have pics of beautiful women, they also have some of the best writing on the planet. I know a lot of guys will do the stereotype thing and go "they have writing?" but anyone with half a brain ought to know it. Some of the people they interview are really interesting too, and have unexpected things to say in a candid, adult-level interview.
