Did You Cough After Quitting & Switching To Vaping?

Hey sup, I'm coughing a lot, density 24mg lol, Thick cough....Just passed 24 hours of quitting, is it normal? While smoking I used to cough but those were dry...like in chest but not coming out...Now I'v trash where I can spit....

Did you cough on your first 2-3 days?

Can you let me know one thing, if its true or not, read on one article, "Lung Clearing" the reason we cough right after quitting is the process to clean the lungs, Smoking hold those cough and we can get rid of it if we smoke chain....So after quitting it gets clean in a week...Is it true? The lung clearing thing? Please lemmi know

Some people only have quitter's flu for a few days. For some, it lasts a month or more.

I smoked 2.5 packs a day in the end, and two packs a day for over thirty years, I coughed for weeks when I made the switch. I could only take small puffs on an Evod type battery and clearo because too much vapor would make me cough. My lungs were in really bad shape. Even now I cannot vape sub ohm type setups because they make me cough, but I can vape all day long on 7.5-8 watt setups at 6 mg/ml. Stuff like the nautilus is my comfort zone. Good luck staying off the smokes, I hear them things are really bad for you

I coughed alot, but truthfully, I wasn't sure it was because I gave up cigs or I was just getting used to vaping. I coughed like hell for a few weeks after my first vape in the morning.

As most peeps have said, yes I did cough and bring up some right funky stuff. I started walking a few miles a day. Certainly helped clear the 35 years of gunk from 5 ounces of rolling baccy a week, from my lungs.

I smoked 1½ to 2 PAD for 40 years before I switched to e-cigs. I didn't really cough that much while I was smoking, and I didn't get the cough when I switched. In fact, I feel no different physically. Finacially I feel much better.

I never inhaled directly to my lungs. Maybe that's the difference.

I did cough, but not much. My doctor told me it was because I was active during my smoking years so my lungs were not that clouded... But to answer your question - Yes it is normal for most...

I believe BT put cough suppressants in cigarettes which would exacerbate the issue..

When I first tried to quit and was dual using I did cough and for a few weeks after I quit totally. In my opinion it is normal as smoking does affect your throat and airways.
