I started at 18 using cigalikes, and I barely made it...
I then went to egos and T3S tanks, using 24, and I was fine.
As I moved up in power, I moved down in nic strength.
I went back to 18, then I stepped it down gradually...15, 12, 9, and now 6.
But, I'm sub ohming around .27 to .3, or 58 to 65 watts...so as previously stated, I'm getting more nicotine from the vape.

Buzz? What's that? I like to feel normal, and with anything less than 12, that's impossible, so I'm at 15 most of the time. Been there for a year and a half.

Yeah, I haven't felt a "buzz" from cigarettes since I was 13 yrs old. When I first started vaping, some igmos recommended 18mg, which made me dizzy -- then made me sick as a goat. No thanks!!!

I like feeling normal -- 9 or 10mg does that for me. No buzz involved -- there are other substances for that. ;)

My roommate is my big driving force behind my passion in this. She was smoking 2 packs a day for 16+ years...when I gave her my first lizard juice pen, and someone said "just keep puffing, no matter what'

It pretty much sparked something in me.... my roommate was on 24mg when she started...now I have her on 6mg...but she doesn't really know that, in her head I think shes on 12-16mg, and im totally okay with that. I just have to keep her juice stocked up and she wont have to accidentally go to the store and pick the wrong thing :)

This actually is the old band house that lead singer from 311 used to own. He used to date Nicole Sherzinger and they spent a lot of time out here. She hated it here tho, from what I heard. Its called Melody Key. We are lucky enough to know the property manager, i also work out there from time to time, gotta make ends meet :)

I personally don't plan to go to 0 nic. It could happen I guess. I started with 18mg went up to 24 then back down to 18. I'm a tootle puffer.

There are many members here that tapered down to low or 0 nic and some that never used nic at all.

Tootle puffer?

I started vaping those silly cig-likes ( the battery life is non existent) at 24mg but quickly moved on to the vivi nova and protank systems at 18mg. I found the device mattered when it came to getting the throut hit I needed. I used to smoke handmade roll-ups for 30 years without a filter and found the cig-a-likes just we not doing it for me.
Anyway to cut a long story short i now use a buddah tank and have been vaping for over 2 years. I am now at just 10mg and am happy with this. I think I will always vape so long as its available and I'll always vape at 10mg 60/40 vg/pg. I think once you find your equilibrium you will know yourself.
The important thing to remember is that as long as you are vaping and not smoking you will be doing far less damage to your body regardless of nicotine intake. That's not to say nicotine is harmless and it is better to not have any at all. But the message I guess is to try not to beat yourself up over the amount you consume. Just find the amount that suits you.
Sometimes difficult things have the most interesting journey. It's not how fast you get there but what you learn along the way, and spreading that message.

When I started vaping, I was coming off a fairly heavy roll-your-own habit, so to give myself half a chance, I started with the strongest e-liquid I could find which was 24mg, vaping on a small ego style device. I have some better gear now and have gradually reduced the nic level to around 6mg, I never noticed any extra cravings or found myself vaping more than usual, nothing out of the ordinary, still getting a good satisfying vape. I am going to try dropping to 3 just to try it out, if it's OK, that will do for me.
