I feel weird vaping in a movie theater, mostly because its a crowded area and people can't see the device clearly in the dark, also the vape can get in front of the movie screen.

Did you had any issues with that in the past? do you have any suggestions for best solutions?
I thought maybe to use 100% PG liquid, so it won't produce too much vape...

Any other tips?

I'm not a conservative but IMO trying to vape in a movie theater may be a bit too much. I'm very conscious about the perception of vaping and try not to do it where smoking would not normally be allowed. Sorry to come down on you but I don't think you should be vaping in a movie theater, if only for the perception. Sorry to step on any toes.

Since smoking is not allowed in movie theaters, I only vape by the most discrete method I can and in stealth fashion.

I will not vape unless I can sit in the last row of the theater. I don't want to take any chance that any vapor may disturb any of the other movie goers. I don't vape until all the lights are out and the movie has begun. I use a double-inhale technique to produce the least amount of exhaled vapor. I use either a mini Provari or a Smoktech mechanical Gripper mod which can be easily hidden in my hand and do not produce a light when the fire button is pressed which could cause a distraction to others.

If you don't draw attention to yourself you can easily vape at the cinema.

Thanks for all your replies :2cool:

I only vape in public when I have nicotine craves, not for fun as I'm doing at home\in my car\office. At the movies I usually go down to the hall\theatre entrance to vape few times. I don't think the light can bother anyone (at least on my device the light is very soft and I can face it down), but I afraid the vapor and smell may bother others.

Honestly, I never feel any discomfort vaping in a restricted smoking areas... In the mall, inside stores, I really don't mind anytime I'm not in a crowded area and feels like I vape straight on people faces

I like your idea of inhaling twice, never tried that before.
What do you think on using 100% PG juice? from your experience is it still produce vapor or not at all?

And yes, I'm going to the movies often enough to consider solutions on vaping there :p and some movies (like the wolf of wallstreet) are 3 hours long

It's a remarkably durable and efficient little mod. An AW 18350 IMR will last several hours of hard vaping. You can get a Gripper at Mad Vapes for just $10, and $4 for the Gripper extension which allows adding a tank or clearomizer. I'm using a "tiny tank" (15mm halfling) on mine now, an IBTanked pyrex tank that OCD from IBTanked kindly sent to me for free to trial before they went into full production.

I use ONLY IMR batteries in all of my mods.

In this time of modern day battery technology, there is no reason to use a protected ICR battery in any mod, IMHO. Safer chemistry batteries are inherently safer than protected ICR batteries. You might sacrifice some battery time, but when it comes down to safety and overall performance you can't beat an IMR or hybrid battery.

Agrees with this^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^110%. I like you found out that protected batteries are not really protected from anything that we use. IMHO

I will not vape unless I can sit in the last row of the theater.

I do the same thing on long bus trips, sitting as far to the rear of the bus as possible, preferably with no one immediately in line of sight ...

That, combined with standard stealth vaping techniques, an eRoll concealed in my hand and holding in the vapor until it dissipates, virtually assures that no one's irrational fears will be provoked ...

And believe me, the stench from the chemical toilet on a Greyhound bus would mask the aroma from even the strongest juice. I'm doing a public service by sweetening it with a little menthol ... :D
