EVERY MONTH8-o!...what do 'they' think I am Retired:) Jkg and honored to be your first post. Good luck and thnx.....from me not the mites.

The burning tongue is most likely from liquid coming through your tips...careful not too overfill your carts. When you do get some liquid in your mouth rinse as soon as you can. You will notice it less and less or just begin to enjoy the burning tongue :) some'o that juice is 'juicy'

when i real smoked i had got to the point i could not take a deep draw without it making me cough.. i had a nasty embarrassing persistent cough..

it literally went away overnight... and real cigs dont taste nasty to me.. and i can now actually enjoy one and take as deep a draw as i like without bursting into a fit of coughing..

paradoxically e smoking has made me able to enjoy a real cig for the first time in years.. i work with people that real smoke and who e smoke... i dont hate the real cigs or the people that still use them.. i can take or leave the real ones.. and my cough has gone.. i do still have and enjoy the odd real cig..

people with real chest problems know the benefits of e smoking way more than those who havnt reached the problem stage yet..

I am on day 6 of no analogs, and the difference is amazing. My wife has even comment on the loads of extra energy I am display.
Before, I would be out of breath when I went up the stairs to the bedroom. Now I run up the stairs 3 at a time and reach the top with no shortness.

I also wake up a lot easier in the mornings. I always used to feel tired when I woke up. No more. And only after 6 days.

I also had a mild wheeze which I hated. That is gone too now. History.

Hail the eCig!!! :)

All up in your grill..
Oh... And I can smell smokers so easily now. Now I know what my poor wife had to put up with (she has never smoked).
Was in the post office yesterday picking up something. I could smell the lady in front me was a smoker with ease. Such a horrible stale smell. AND I USED TO SMELL LIKE THAT. Yuk :)
Congrats on 6 days! Lucky for you that your government doesn't seem to be positioning themselves to remove these products. Never thought I would see the day when south africa would be more progressive then the US.

I feel so much better. I used to get out of breath easily and always felt like I had crud in my throat that wouldn't go away. When I'd get a cold the cough would last forever :( I can breathe now... and smell things I couldn't before, it's awesome!

I never did have that period of coughing stuff up though. After 25 yrs of smoking I would think something would have come up but so far not a thing. I'm thinking of having a PET scan done to check my lungs and see how they faired through my 25 yrs of abuse.

None of the categories fit myself and how I currently feel a little over a month without analogs. The biggest difference is the amount of ENERGY that I now have. I have two small children which means my wife and I are have two small alarm clocks that go off around seven in the morning. Add in the fact that I am a night owl and well the time when I did smoke analogs, I could just be nasty in the morning. I think about that a lot recently and have come to the conclusion that all those chemicals in an analog not only wrecked havoc on my physically but mentally. Like I said in a previous post, I feel ten years younger.

yes a big difference, have more energy, the dry hacking cleared up really quick, couldn't even take deep breaths with out hacking from it. The horse voice is also gone. I don't know how fast lungs heal but I do feel I am not doing the damage I was doing smoking analogs... Can only keep getting better from here after 58 days analog free.

Good poll.
I work at a job where there can be high concentrations of CO2. When I smoked, I'd work a 12-hour shift, and would be wheezing, coughing and short of breath.

Now?

The CO2 doesn't effect me at all.

Yet another reason to hate the FDA -they want me to go back to that life.

.......s!

(The side effect, though, would seem to be weird dreams of zombies...)

Did you know there is more CO2 given off in one burning cig than OSHA allows in a company that manufactures CO2? I know, useless information but kinda interesting.

One month, one day vaping.

Two packs a day of Camels for the last 5 years prior to vaping.

I was a 40 year hardcore smoker & I enjoyed every one of them.

I vape like a mutha and its all good.

My lungs started to clear instantly.

The only downside is my sense of smell.

There is some nasty smelling stuff out there.

I can't believe how much I've improved since switching to PVs about 3 months ago.

My friends comment that my voice even sounds different, and I don't clear my throat before I speak anymore. No more smoker's cough at all -- and it was getting noticeable. I used to lie in my bed at night and listen to this whistling, gurgling noise my lungs were making, and know that I needed to quit. I never could till now.

All of that is gone, after this short time! My nose isn't constantly stuffy, either. When I walk to work in the mornings I can make it up the hill without stopping. I can't believe I let things progress as far as they did with analogs, the difference in my quality of life now is incredible.

i too had that wheezing at night. had to hit an asthma inhaler before bed so i didnt keep myself up with the noise. the wife used earplugs.

and ive never had asthma a day in my 36 year life. 22 or so years smoking. it finally happened last summer, and it scared the bejeezus out of me. i quit cold turkey on january this year, and it went well for about 4 months. then i had to have an analog. it was only at work, i decided to not smoke at home. then i saw a coworker puffing an ecig, and he explained it all to me. i was sold. i went by what i read on here for recommendations, and got a 510 for my first, in june. wife fell in love with it, so i gave that one to her, and picked up another 510.

since then, i dont think i have had any more asthma symptoms, i can play hockey again (im a goalie) without needing to rest on my knees between plays, i can sing again (used to do theater and still love to sing in Rock Band) for longer than a few songs before my voice gives out.

i am not reelecting any of the garbage occupying the hallowed offices of my representation in congress and senate this next go around next year, but my vote will go to a candidate that is ecig friendly. i will ask him/her that when they are running and do my best to hold them to that.
