I know what you mean, and I agree. After all the hype its still just a battery tube! I bought mine soley on build quality, I wanted VV with the durability of my BB. I think I got that, and the mini being the same size was an added bonus. But its not the "Wow, this thing is great!" feeling I was expecting. I think, for me at least, its going to be a time over usage thing to make me apreciate it to it's fullest.

I switched to a methol carto and finally i feel some difference I think it must have to do with the minty sensation giving me the thoat hit i was craving for. Unfortunately, methol is not my favorite juice. My favorite juice doesnt taste any better. All in all I think I will agree, over time I will like this device more, hope its not going to take too long.

Try an AGA-T. SS mesh is rolled up and used as a wick in genesis atties. I suggest you maybe hit youtube/RBA section of the forum to get more knowledge on how to properly oxidize and setup your coil/wick.

Edit.. SS mesh = stainless steel mesh

I have watched so many youtube videos these days i will add that on my list. Where can i buy the AGA-T? So if i buy one do i still need to know how to oxidize and such?

Cause you can do this to it. Uses all three 18350, 18490, and 18650 batteries and air control.

Pushing the voltage will not improve the Throat hit tremendously. Nicotine is the best way to improve the throat hit. What MG or % are you using right now? Pretty much everything works on the Provari so things will just improve form here on out. How good are you with fiddling with things? If you are pretty good, you can try the genesis route. If you are not good with fiddling with things and you want to try one, please get a cheap one to start like the AGA. Don't waste money on a higher dollar genesis if all it is going to do is aggravate you.
I have three main setups. My normal everyday setup is a Boge carto in a good tank, second would be my HH357 dripping(will have an atomizer tank soon) and third is my Zap when I am at the house. I also make my own juice so I can make it to whatever device I am using.
For instance, I only use 0nic in my Zap. The Vapor is so strong and clean that I do straight inhales when using it and my throat can not handle nicotine when using it this way. I do the Vapor in the mouth inhale when using anything else, around 12mg and adjust flavor accordingly.

I must have a tough throat...I use 30mg, of course its 100% VG... I use the HH357's with no problems vaping around the 10 watt area..
I did own a ZAP for awhile, the thing delivered nicotine like no other... It wasnt that it was to harsh, but it delivered so much nicotine that it made me feel quesy...

Maybe I am just a carto person afterall?!? I dont know if I am good at fiddling things, I guess I just dont want to, at least at this moment. So I guess the AGA-T is out?!? Looking at the things you have to do just discourage me :) I am watching the ZAP video, looks like quite a bit to do and learn before you can vape. How long does each setup last for the ZAP? I guess I am asking how often you have to the pre-steps ie oxidizing and stuff? What about the hh357, do you have to continuously drip or there is tank you can use with them?

Is there really not a fool proof and easy way for a good vape?? My juice is 12mg, has been the mg i used for the past year.

You have to fill the HH357 regularly, I've heard there is a tank coming, but don't know any more than that.
The carto tank is about as easy as it gets, other than buying prefilled carto's.

Just want to say THANKS again to All you guys for helping.

So the HH357 is pretty easy to use, just put it together and vape, correct? I dont mind doing dripping every so often, it will be suitable for testing new juices, maybe.

My coils last a long time... I can go up to 2 months or more if I wanted, but I like a fresh coil. It depends on what gauge of resistance wire you use sonewhat also in regards to longevity. I only oxidized once and wrapped it up, there are also methods where you dont have to oxidize at all. And I dry burn it every once in a while to clean it and its good as new.

Some people have to lower their nic dosage but that is all personal preference. Im still where Im at and enjoy it.

Hey KV, which method are you referring to? Is it the AGA-T? If so, I am not sure if I am up for all those steps that need to be done

asking the difference between a bloog and a provari is like asking a starving etheopian child the difference between drinking skim milk and heavy cream. the bloog's best puff doesn't even come close to the provari's worst at any given time. you might be sitting there vaping away with your bloog battery fresh off the charger, you take a looong drag, and you'll say "Woah! That one was a nice puff! I wish it felt like that every time!" well... with the provari, you can get that puff, (or stronger if you'd like... you WILL like..) every single puff. You use the voltage regulator to tailor the puff to your liking. With the provari, not only are you getting that awesome variable voltage experience that so many cheaper devices can deliver these days, but you get the peace of mind of knowing that the manufacturer will fix your provari for free for 1 year... and if you drop, scratch, dent, or break your provari, you can get it fixed at any given time for a small fee. there is only a couple vaping devices on the market that give you that ability. once you try the provari, within the first hour you'll realize that your probably never going to use your bloog bats again. Its like climbing to the top of the tallest mountain, taking a deep breath, and realizing you've been living in a giant's ..... now u realize it stunk. Its a great device. but any vv device will get you by. the bloog bats are GREAT for out and about, or for when you can't look like a dweeb vaping a big ol mod, but for all other times, the provari is king.

How long have you been vaping for? Sorry if I missed it.

With all genesis atomizers in general when using a non-oxidized wick, they will just roll the SS mesh up and wrap the coil. Then just keep pulsing their device over and over with some breaks in between. I believe its on youtube if your curious.

About 2 years now, started with v4l, then ego, then bloog became my stable. I was looking at some videos on setting up the cobra and thought hey it's not that bad, i can do it!! Then i realize you have to make your own coil. Is that correct? Tried searching for videos how to do so and couldnt find any. Do you know of any links?
