Racing/pounding heart/hearing heart in your head/high pulse rate are the first and, thus far, only symptoms I get. I don't keep vaping until a headache sets in but have heard that from others. It leaves pretty fast by quitting vaping or dropping nic level to zero for a bit and way faster than overdoing on smokes which has the added symptoms of oxygen deprivation.

I started at 24mg as I was a heavy chain smoker. After 2 to 2 1/2 months I had to cut back to at least 12mg and after 6 months I have cut to 9mg. I also had to cut way back on caffeine. I was vaping 3-4 mil a day. Here are some symptoms I experienced.

1. Anxiety-nervousness-general headless chicken type behavior
2. Sleeplessness
3. Racing heart
4. Lightheadedness
5. Higher blood pressure-Can't be sure as others report lower blood pressure but mine was higher
6. Some nausea
7. After the above fatigue would set in...kind of like a hangover.

Yeh, I'm one that lowered blood pressure vaping... but, anytime you're getting too much nic and/or low saturation oxygen levels from smoking too much, its going to raise bp due to a racing heart either being stimulated too much or trying to pump oxygen faster so you don't pass out from not enough of it. I don't do caffeine in any form but it sounds horrible along with overdoing nic at the same time... wow!

Definitely nausea. I don't get the racing heart I do get hyper though if it's been a long day of vaping more than usual and takes a long while to get sleepy at night! But I get definitely nauseated before I my heart does any racing. Dry mouth too happens with normal vaping so I don't see a difference there.

Symptoms of withdrawal are pretty much the same syptoms of OD with nicotine.
So, at least for me, its been tough to know which is which.
I vape 12mg and dont have much a problem chain vaping like I chain smoked.
But then there are days, or rows and rows of days where i have my usual anxiety.
I'm just an anxious person though.

I first experienced nicotine OD the first time I started chewing the gum. 3 or 4 pieces of 4 mg. in an hour period. Very sharp pain right behind my eyeballs. 16 years ago, I still remember the pain. Excessive vaping, I can feel the headache returning and maybe the heart racing a little. It seems as though the nausea is caused by the dehydration. Reading this forum and listening to (and following) the advice seems to correct the problem!

About a month ago I was just vaping away and I started feeling kinda weak with bad stomach cramps.

I just hit the water a little harder, kicked back on the futon and put down the PV for a while and I was back to normal.

But then again, define normal:D I think your body will let you know long before you OD though. Mine did.

if youve had too much, you wont find yourself looking to vape or wont be doing it automatically.

in addition to slight headaches, i will actually get a funny taste in the back of my mouth, almost like i can taste the nicotine where if i had gone not vaping for a few hours it wouldnt be there.

as far as nic content, think of it this way. you can vape a lower level longer, or a higher level shorter. you wont get dizzy from one vape of 36 mg, but if you take ten in a row vs ten puffs of 16 mg you will feel the difference.

i vape < 4 ml a day because i vape 24mg, if i reduced my nic content i imagine i would be going a lot harder on it.
