Difference between the 510 and EGO Question

I have a Joye 510 and am considering switching to an EGO. The EGO uses the same cartos and attys as the 510 - Right? If that is true the only difference would be the EGO batteries and how long they last - Right? Why than wouldn't I just buy 2 EGO batteries and than I would have basically an EGO ???? with the EGO batteries wouldn't I still buy the exact same supplies as when I used the 510? Am I missing something - Confused as all get out !!!!! Please help! Thanks

The eGo batteries can't be charged using a 510 charger without using a $5 adapter piece, even then it takes hours and hours to charge. OR, you can buy an eGo charger for about $15 and it'll charge in a reasonable amount of time.

so:

2 batteries plus the charger is already nearly the price of a new eGo kit -- it's always a good idea to have spare atomizers, right, so the natural choice is to just get a whole new eGo kit.

Hi and welcome to ECF. The answer to your question is yes, and no. You'll basically have the same thing, but you won't get the rapid charger or the cones unless you buy those separately. Overall it works out better to just buy a kit. You can get a Riva which is basically an eGo but a different brand for $30. It would cost about that much for just 2 batteries when ordered separately.

So what is the difference between the Joye 510 and the Joye Ego?
Which one is newer, and which one is better?
I am using this Joye Ego Kit.

The 510 is a cig sized PV with a small capacity batt. The eGo is larger with a large batt. The 510 preceded the eGo. The eGo is far superior.

If you have eGo batts, do yourself a favor and purchased THESE and don't look back. Nothing in the eGo configuration beats this combo.

Enjoy!

Good advice on the Riva 510. Standard Ego batts are 650 mah if I'm not mistaken and Riva are 750 to begin with. For the price of two you get the batts, charger, cone, two attys and some carts. As for the difference in 510 and Ego or Riva you can use lower resistance carts and attys and upgrade to a tank system later if you want. LF has the Riva kit for around $30 after the 20% off.

The eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer looks cool.......can I fill it easily using the push method?
Do they hold more juice or give a better vape?
I'm using 510 LR Cartomizer 'Soft Top' (Black) at the moment. 2.3 ohm.

Is that where you fill the little condom thing and push the carto down into it? I tried it once. I think it's meant for a type of connection other than 510. The video I saw had a carto with a female connection, so it went down flush at the bottom of the condom. Not so with the 510 male threads. Maybe I'm missing something, but it made a big mess when I tried it. It's very easy to fill by dropping juice in the top though.

Yes and yes.
