Hello, I'm still a hopeless newb, thanks to all who have answered my previous threads - I still need some help. Can someone explain to me the difference between these two kits:

KGO Mega Dual Coil Kit 1100mah
and
KGO Black Atomizer Kit 1100mah

I plan on picking up a couple of VisionEgo aka Stardust cartomizers because I like the way they look and they seem easy enough to use. Also do I want the SR (2.5-2.9 ohm) or LR (2.1-2.4 ohm) with the KGO?
Which of these kits do I want? Please explain the difference, assume I know nothing :)

Basically the difference is the first one comes with mega dual coil cartomizers. The second one is the "standard" KGO kit which comes with atomizers which are a heating element that gets fed from a "bridge". The cartridges that come with that kit plug into the top of the atomizer and feed the liquid to the atomizers. The cartridges have a poly fill that is saturated with the liquid and are not typically reusable. The dual coil kit I would personally pass up, because the dual coils don't seem to work until you get to a 4.5-5 volt range and the KGO is regulated at 3.7 volts. You could grab the standard kit and keep the atomizers and cartridges for a rainy day if you plan on picking up some stardust clearomizers though. You might want to trySLB KGO Starter Kitfor the same kit except for the fact that it comes with blank cartomizers, instead of atomizers/cartridges, which you can fill with the liquid of your choice and work really well with the KGO. You can also try a single coil 1.7 ohm carto from the same place ($4 more will net you 5 of them!) As far as the stardust goes, I would strongly suggest using the LR ones as there is a good chance that they will serve you better.

thanks for your reply!

I actually already bought the standard kit before I posted this thread and was second guessing myself. I assumed that I wouldn't need anything but the batteries and charger with the stardust clearomizers, so I went for the cheaper one. And just by pure luck I ended up getting the LR clearomizers since they didn't have the colors I wanted in the SR. I've been shopping around for kits and did look at the SLB KGO Starter Kit but I really don't like the look of the brassy trim pieces and I much prefer the chrome. So now I'm feeling pretty good about my purchase, just gotta make it through this weekend! thanks again.

I have a prosmoke basic ecig that I got on a friend's recommendation. Managing to keep off analogs with it, but I've been getting a lot of dry hits and I'm not pleased with the battery life. I also want to enjoy all the delicious flavors I've been reading about. I've been reading here for a week or so and it's all just so overwhelming. So finally I just decided to dive in, and ordered the KGO and the clearomizers based on recommendations I got here. I also ordered a bunch of different flavors of juice from sweet vapes and virgin vapor. It's all still not clear to me what I'll be doing with this stuff but I'm sure I'll figure it out once it's actually in my hands. Can't wait to get my stuff :D

Those dual coil cartos are beast.

If you are a vape noob, start out with cartos. They are more forgiving, and disposable.
I'm not saying don't get that fancy tank system.... I'm just saying have some cartos handy so that if/when you run into technical difficulties, you can deal with the difficulties without having to dig mysterious holes in your back yard.
