So, I initially thought I was having bad reactions from PG b/c the carts that came with my 801 were making me spacey and causing anxiety. It felt like I had 10 cups of coffee even with a low OR no nic cartridge..

THAN, I got my Johnson Creek in yesterday. (my first time buying juice) and those horrible side effects disapeared and I slept sooo goood last night..

BUT, I feel like my mouth is coated in wax or petroleum jelly. I want to say cotton mouth, but it feels more like its greasy (repelling saliva) and my skin around my fingers seem tight when I close them. (maybe dry skin?)

It really makes you wonder the different ingredients the juices have..

ALSO- am I suppose to significantly taste the flavored liquids? I tried the JC Tennessee Curd Low and the Strawberry None ,and while they don't taste bad at all..I just don't notice any flavor that says" hey, this is strawberry"

I think I notice the smell more than the taste..

Anyone else have opinions on this matter and different juice brands or why my mouth feels like this? (even 12 hrs later after my last e cig)

Awww, lol. I'll comment then.

Well, I can honestly say that I've never had a waxy feeling in my mouth from my PV. I don't think it's supposed to do that.

My recommendation: try swapping atomizers, take a fresh cart filled with JC juice and go from there.

I'm thinking there might be something on your atomizer that isn't supposed to be there.

First, drink plenty of liquids when you are vaping. PG tends to dry your mouth out. In your case, it may feel like a waxy film.

Different smoling juices will taste different. I suppose that is why they are different. I like JC juices, but may find the falvor too light for their tastes.

Initially I was going to say that you might have a problem vaping PG if you were unable to sleep. But, if you ordered a PG-based smoling juice from JC and you slpet well, them PG is not a problem. I think you will likely try other smoking juices over the next few months, but remember the one(s) that made you feel the best. Vaping is a hands-on, full-contact habit and none of us can give you definitive guidance, just our own subjective opinions. Best of luck!

I have to agree with Breakfast . It is a hands on experience.

Asking which liquid gives the best flavour is the pandoras box of questions.

many users need the vapour. which inturn moves them to the higher %age PG or VG compostites. ( ie less room for flavourings per drip)

Others want the taste hit. and taste is totally subjective.

Then you have to consider what device you are getting your "hit" from. eg the temp of the atomiser.

What is good for one, is pants for another.

And on top of that just mix in a bit of how many analagues you have used in the last couple of months ( the fewer the more taste buds you have working/ re juvinated)

And you can come to the conclusion - its your choice.

Sorry I cant be more useful

I totally relate to what you describe...especially the "cotton mouth" if I vape too much.

The only time I really tasted a discernible flavor was when I first started dripping vanilla Nobacco juice. Unfortunately, my palette adjusted to the change very quickly and the flavor quickly became less pronounced. Worse still, the dripping began to foul my batteries, so I'm back to using filler material.

I'll just have to keep trying different vendors until I find something I like.

there's gotta be some differences between juices. I got some chocolate in and as soon as i saw it i thought to myself "atomzer killer".. well apparently i was right. plugged up 3 atomizers in 2 days with chocolate juice. It's just too heavy, but the vapor is INCREDIBLE from it...

I'm getting lots of flavor from all of my varities though... I always get the stuff in the blue "e-liquid" boxes that say "atomzied liquid" on the bottle. They always have good flavor.

I wouldnt be surprised if the recipes differ b/t varieties and manufacturers...

MsVapor...I got the JC non-PG samples. The cherry and strawberry both seem waxy to me. Don't like them at all  But I love the Tennessee Cured and the Peach

Oh good, hopefully its just the strawberry one b/c I tried that one first..I used mostly the Tennesee Curd last night and my mouth doesn't seem waxy today..
Thanks!

Thanks for answering first.. lol
I can't really switch atomizers b/c I only have one right now and its only a week old. (but it did get clogged b/c I tried VG mixture) I got it working again through helpful tips on here.
Thanks

Ok, I'm fishing here... but, did ya just back off analog cigs? Mayhap the "taste" is your taste buds waking up or that tar stuff backing out of your oral mucosa... like, if you're an analog smoker and let's say you dont smoke for a day, the taste in your mouth gets funky and dry and it takes a day or two to get back to pink, normal tissue. Maybe you're just getting healthier ;-)

has anyone tried e-juice from e-cig.com. if u havent and you were thinking about it because there prices are cheap, DO NOT, first of all it smells and taste like china, straight up china it makes me want to vomit. The quality is terrible there is just nothing good about smoking something that tastes like chinese juice basically it smells like this stuff came out of a sweat shop or something. I wana know if anyone else had this expierience or have bought from these guys. Im waiting for JC juice to get here and i hope to never look back again

I don't want to sound critical but these multiple ALARMING titled posts are getting me a little "peeved" and "suspect". You think that some of your "side effects" could be from either stopping or reducing the use of cigarettes? Your description would make one think you are being poisoned. Out of all the thousand of posts I've read, I never read one that sounds so alarming.

Again, I'm not trying to down play any legitimate concerns but it just seems a little too alarming from a description stand point.

And again, no disrespect intended.

I had a feeling of a light coat of wax coating my tongue and mouth. For me, I found out what it was. I had bought VG Glycerin 99% Anhydrous to mix with the juices that were too strong for me. When I got a bottle of PG that I ordered online, I got no waxy feeling. I've tried the PG with different juices, and all is good now. Maybe you got VG juices?

I havent experienced "anxiety" or what you describe, but i can tell you that i ordered juices from ruyandirect and THREE of them (marl, flu-cured, ruyan #4) were utterly, utterly horrible. They had a very sweet sugary "juice smell" to them also, besides the horrible taste they were extremely "dusty" and made my mouth dry out instantly. There was nothing even SLIGHTLY resembling "tobacco flavor" or similar with them.

I had other juices/brands as comparison which are *totally* different in taste and dryness, and the ones i like i know that they have 97% (!) PG. They do not dry out my mouth and do not feel "dusty"...they are much more "rounder" in taste.

My guess is that the china-p*ss juices had more VG - while the ones i like are the ones with more (or only) PG in it. For now i will probably stay away from the cheap china juices. Its no comparison imho.
