Hey ECF world I have tried to make the perfect holly grail custard but keep coming up a wee bit short. I Bought on line top names, B&M secret recipes. I have tried recipes on line made up my own all were good but no goose bumps and toe curlers. I thought the heck with it. Now I make up 30 ml of a tasty custard fill my tank up and put a drop or 2 of flavoring just enough to give it a good hint of that flavor but not dominate the custard, . It might be raspberry when it runs out I dump what little juice I have left then go with a blueberry or strawberry. Sometimes I don't dump it out depends on what I am switching to,. I have tried most fruits and mints. Right now its a very tasty key lime custard :vapor: . Some times I wish I had a adv like some of you other days I live life on the edge and like to peek over:evil:

My ADVs are coffee, cinnamon roll and banana's foster.
Edit: forgot my other ADV- Dutch apple pie!

The thing is, these are never straight from the bottle... I always add a dash of this-or-that to each one. Sometimes I kick the caramel up (caramel and/or bacon make everything better! ;)), or tweak with a touch of cinnamon roll, or a wee-bit of bananas.

I've even been known to add some toasted marshmallow! (livin' on the edge!)

Btw, my ADVs are from Mt. Baker Vapor, and coffee from Killer-juice

Both are great vendors with great product.

And I'll be finding out how some of their flavors translate to DIY

Care to divulge your current mix / source on the custard?

Hi Cabinet Guy
First off taste is subjective With that being said I can tell you what I have and what I do. I use a Aspire mini with bvc coils on a mvp2 at 9.5 watts. I like my custard smoothie not much throat hit. I start out writing everything down for each batch and comments if I have any. My pg vg ratio is 40-60 using 100mg nicotine breaking it down to 10mg.
I make 30 ml This batch is....3ml nicotine or 60 drops..... 23.4 ml pg vg mix or 468 drops..... 40 drops of Vanilla Custard - Capella Flavors.... 10 drops of New York Cheesecake - Capella Flavors..... 10 drops of Bavarian Cream TFA.. 5 drops of French Vanilla TFA .... 5 drops Vanilla Cupcake TFA 4 drops of Ethyl Malto TFA.

I have used many things mixed and matched The only main stay is Vanilla Custard at different strengths and Ethyl Malto which you use only a little always. You can use delce de leche with strawberry kinda like mothers milk.. I have used sweet cream, whipping cream vanilla bean, vanilla swirl just to name a few.

To get started I would suggest you make 2 different kind of batches unless you can wait for it to steep lol. This is how I let it steep. After mixing up a batch I shake it well then put it in a cool dark place. Every day I squeeze out the air to get the perfume or chemical aroma out then shake it again. I do that every day for a week or untill I need it lol.

It is mostly trial and error until you find what is to your taste. Again taste is subjective

Thanks for the detailed recipe.

I'll be bookmarking this one for when I get deeper into diy, and use it to guide some of the flavor selections.

Your Welcome if you are new to diy then might I suggest starting out with one flavor and get it to your liking. Then maybe add another flavor. I started out with strawberry then added blueberry then added some Bavarian Cream. Then I messed it all up by adding something else lol. When adding a sweetener I highly suggest using Ethyl Malto remember use only a little Here is a good place to find different recipes.

e-Liquid Calculator

PS when you find that holly grail please share it with me:D
