I just used this method and it works Great!!!!.so much easier than removing caps and all. If you are going for a standard refill (18 -20 drops)fill your condom to a little over half. Press carto down very SLOWLY so it has time to absorb the juice. Once you see the juice coming up the tube stop remove the carto, wipe it off and vape away or put the buttplug in and give it a Taryn spin. Make sure you clean off any juice on the battery connection part of the carto. If you want to stuff your carto with juice follow the steps above except you will fill your condom a little over 3/4.Press VERY SLOWLY when you see juice starting to come up the tube STOP. Let it sit for a couple minutes and it should allow you to get a little more juice in. Taryn spin it and you are done. There is a learning curve for stuffing. If you are not sure spin it and check it. MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE .... PLUG ON BEFORE SPINNING. You waste some doing it this way (1 drop maybe) but it is worth it.:thumbs::thumbs:
I haven't filled my blanks yet . It should work the same just more juice.Taryn you have to try this.
Thanks Witchway,Great find!!!!

Taryn from what I tell you will but you will have to work with a little. This seems to be a full proof way to not overfill. I can't really figure out why.( I'm sure Add'y will explain) It seems that you would have all kinds of juice in top of the carto but you don't? I did have a problem with new cart the silicone trap was sitting on the fill easily fixed it got a little messy.

I just tried it to use a top off on a cart. I didnt give it a full fill, just used it to top off and it works great. This is a good method to use if you are outdoors or working or in a car. Anything like that. Maybe on a ski lift? Great quickie fill mode for active people on the go. No tools needed just a few carts in your pocket and a small bottle of juice and you are set.

I do have a hypothesis that works to address all those concerns - since I was "invoked" and all. :)

My hypothesis:

You don't have juice at the top nor in the air passage because it doesn't adhere strongly enough to overcome the force of the vacuum being generated. When you draw the condom back off you draw off the juice that was in the air passage and free area of the carto with the vacuum generated. The vacuum is not enough to overcome the attraction of the batting.

Take a bunch of dirt and drop it on the tile. The vacuum picks it up for several inches away - there's nothing adhering it or attracting it outside of friction which is very small at that fine a scale. Now do the same thing on the carpet. Notice that the dirt deep in the fibers is very difficult to release. Even harder with a liquid that has been absorbed into the fibers which have a tremendous amount of surface area.

When you apply force on the mouth piece side you push the silicon o-ring down against the batting. When you draw back, you pull it back to exactly the position it was originally. The amount of air being displaced remains constant. That, however, assumes a perfect seal and perfect location of force applied. Assuming the you pressed to one side or another, the opposite side may depress more or less, causing the o-ring to suffer more or less friction or lose more or less vacuum, and it may then release the air bubble. So when you draw back it may move less or not at all.

The risk with filling to the battery-side is that the oring will be pushed out and then potentially drawn tight against the batting if you lose proper seal.

.

Without a Taryn Centrifuge being employed I suspect you won't ever get a full fill. The pressure can't be applied slowly enough, and the upper layers will become saturated and push the liquid back in towards the center, while the lower layers remain dry. You could, perhaps, fill that way partially, release, put a condom on the bottom, then plug the top hole and use vacuum pressure to draw filling into the lower layers. That would function in the same principle as the Taryn Spin.

In fact, I think giving this just some cursory thought that we can even calculate this. I believe we are observing Bernoulli's Principle at play here. That being the case, going very slowly will be key to getting the best possible results. For those that aren't physics-of-fluid-dynamics fans, Bernoulli states, simply, that if we increase the speed of the fluid flow, the potential energy of the fluid will decrease - for an inviscid fluid. Now this is an exceptionally viscid fluid we're dealing with here, but the problem should still be capable of being modeled in its simple form using the Euler equations and simplifying with the Reynolds number. There is some substantial compressibility here, so we need to turn to Navier-Stokes...

Errr - sorry forgot for a moment there what forum I'm on. I'll save this one for another forum.
