I just sent in a support ticket to Halo but I would like to ask here. Any Tribeca freaks like me notice a fowl after taste with the latest batch of Tribeca? Here is my lot code TRIB1001805. Mine was 18mg nic

I vape nothing but Tribeca and at least 30ML+ a week. I know steeping is necessary but still have always vaped right after local purchase or after halo delivered to door and all has been good. This last round....not so good with a terrible foul after taste. This is not a one day thing, I know sometime the taste buds are off and I waited a few 3 days before I decided it was the juice and not my buds. Also gave it some hot water baths and frequent shaking to no avail. And all this is with my same routine vaping methods I alternate with each day, Dripping, Kayfun, Russian, carto tanks. All the same after taste :(

So, anyone else with a recent Tribeca order notice is off in tatse?? Especially the loved after taste. As it stands I get a nasty chemical after taste in back of throat, back of tongue and roof of mouth.

I basically told Halo I will sit on this batch and hope it improves but dont want to order from the same lot again and need to know when a new barrel is made. Its the weekend so I know it will be days before I hear from them. Hopefully my local B&m has some Tribeca from a different older lot.

Honestly, they sell more Tribeca than anything else, and they may have run out of fully steeped stuff and sent the batch out early, it wouldn't be the first time. They would rather ship out unsteeped juice, and let the consumer steep it themselves, than have it out of stock for a week or two.

To this day, Halo claims they have never had a "bad batch" and mantain that their quality control is top notch, so I doubt it was that. But... there can be first for everything, or the usps could have left is outside overnight in the cold.

The way you described the taste is the same "chemical taste" we all get with unsteeped Halo juices, so hopefully it just needs some time. If I'm really ancy to vape my stuff, and it isn't ready I take the dropper and keep pushing air into the juice for about 10 minutes, then leave the cap off overnight. That always seems to get the job done, although sometimes it takes a few cycles of that.

Either way, let us know how it works out, unvapable tribeca must make for a sad day. I hopeit was just a steeping issue, and that it becomes just as good as it should be.

Grabbed a few more locally and ssame batch number . No love for me this weekend. I am stuck vaping it, have no choice and dont like the wifes juice. Halo got back to me and is looking into it but am sure that wont go far, Doubt Ill get the "ya we sent it out the day after made" message LOL.

I need to buy more, stock up and make sure this never happens again, I just have to wait a bit to be positive this is a steeping issue, would be bummer if i had a ton of halo Tribeca and they had a new ingredient or nicotine supplier causing this horrid after taste. Oh I so miss that sweet magical taste that is left in the back of my cheeks and tongue.

I would pay $50+ for a good tasting 15ml bottle of tribeca right now if someone was to bring it on by my house so i could vape it this very minute. I would drive for a bottle too. Seriously doing what I can to not smoke right now since this Tribeca taste like ...., I dont want to throw months out the window.

Take the top off the bottle for 24 hours and leave it airing. Then try it again. Failing that - do you have an ultrasonic cleaner? If so you can fast steep it. I'm betting it's less steeped than usual. When I DIY using tobacco bases I fast steep them for the equivalent of at least a month to get the proper flavor.

^^^^^What AmandaD said regarding the ultrasonic cleaner^^^^^ -I am confident that this will fix the Tribeca.
