Explained in even simpler terms, as you will soon find out different flavors will taste and vape better at a particular voltage. This is known as "the sweet spot' in variable voltage terminology. Every vapor's sweet spot for each juice may or may not be different than the next guy. The praticality in this is that you can easily go from one voltage extreme to another to find your own sweet spot with each juice that you have with the press of a button.

Fruit flavors tend to demand voltage in the lower range. I have some that taste best below 3.7v, which is lower than the typical non-variable voltage device puts out. In this instance, "hotter" is not necessarily better; a higher voltage could cause these flavors to taste scorched. Then I have my coffee flavors that each seem to have their own sweet spot, typically between 4.4v to 5.2v.

That's why I'd recommend a 3.0 ohm resistance on your vaping attachment so that you have more leeway across the voltage range.
