Where do you guys buy tank spacers? I couldn't find any on FastTech.

They don't call them "tank spacers", or anything like that, on FT. They call them "POM heat insulation gasket(s) for atomizers". I ordered 10 (because why not?) for about $6. SKU # 2173201, but you can just order one or a 5-pack as well.

Nice find billy, I'm gonna get me some of those also. What I have is the "KP Mod Guard - 5 Pack" from Kidney Punchers, those are .5mm in thickness, looks like the ones from FT are 1mm thickness, good to have both sizes.

Right now I am using the Coppervape Hussar w/2mm air pin for my Arabic Tobacco Net in a 60/40 PG mix, and my Siren 22mm with my Menthol/Mint 60/40 PG mix. My Hussar is on my HΩ Tech Slice running a NiCr 28g, 3mm spaced TC build, and my Siren is on my HΩ Tech G2 running a 30g Twisted Kanthal, 3mm spaced TC build. Those are the only 2 setups I am running now, my Lemo's are put away for now. My ErlK's, UberToots, Taifun GT V2's and Fev 3 and 4 are boxed up and in my storage. The only mods I am running now are my HΩ Tech devices, Presa 75's and 100's, all the rest are also in storage.

I ordered some other stuff from FT at the same time...because once you're ordering one thing that will take weeks to arrive, why not order a few other random things as well, eh?

I picked up a (new to me) SS Cthulhu MTL RTA, a couple of different drip tips to try out, and what I'm most interested in trying out...some double twisted SS 316L ribbon wire.

My understanding from reviews is that the Cthulhu (gotta love that name) is not quite as good as the Siren for flavor, but is otherwise a pretty good MTL RTA. Since I may not ever be able get another Siren, I figure I may as well check out some other MTL RTA options.

Even after leaving it laying on its side for extended periods of time, I've yet to have any leak/seep issues with my one and only Siren. It doesn't ever dry hit. A variety of 510 drip tips fit it well. The airflow control dial hasn't moved out of place on its own once. The threading is perfectly fine. Refilling is as breezy as it gets. The only real issue for me is the stupid over long 510 connection pin.

It may not be a perfect tank, but this sucker sure works pretty darn well as is. I would make one or two (maybe 3) small changes on it to make it "perfect". Are there any other MTL RTAs anything like this tank? Because this thing basically rocks!

I also was looking at the Cthulhu MTL RTA, but decided against it due the reports from various sources that it left a juice ring under the tank on top of the mod. Let me know what you find though, as I might still be looking at one, who knows. Right now the Siren 22mm and 25mm along with the Coppervape Hussar are my GoTo RTA's.

It`s the type found in Subtank bases...and others.

This kind of thing

There are different sizes available, I have several types in my spares box collected from heaven knows where...

but it`s the larger rubber variety that fit the 510s

(not all tanks can use them as an alternative but in this specific case, the Siren can)

I've been checking out the Coppervapes Hussar. It's on my short list of next MTL RTAs to try, but that cloudy looking tank tends to put me off every time I look at one. I had the same issue with the Pico RTA when I was looking at it several months ago. I just couldn't get over the look of that cloudy tank, so I never ended up getting one.

How are your 25mm Siren GTAs holding up? I have read there is a press fit component in that model Siren that tends to fail, causing some leak issues. Have you had any problems like that?

Since 25mm Sirens are still available (last I checked), I'd be interested to know if they are worth getting - though I don't think any of my current mods can handle anything more than a 24mm tank without some overhang.

I had the press fit component failing on me yesterday night, unfortunately!

So far I was a lucky one not getting much leakage even without modification, but yesterday I noticed the glass would continue to spin even though I fully closed the tank, then it leaked out like crazy and then I figured out the lower part of the chamber did came off of the chamber itself.

What I did is I pressed hard the ring that came out - I don't know how else to call that part- into the chamber again and now it seems it's ok, although I don't know how many times I could do that before it will completely fail on me, not staying anymore where that "ring" should be !

There`s a fine tolerance on those 2 parts, it`s not surprising some may come from the factory slighty looser than others.

If it came out, I would abrade/score both surfaces with rough sandpaper or a metal file to make more grip when the ring is reinserted.

I'm gonna try that next time it happens !

Hey Ya'll. I just wanted to check in with more lengthy test results on my 22mm Siren and the o-ring under the positive post test. I have just put 17 tank fulls thru it with NO SEEPAGE whatsoever !! Yea !!! I had previously put 8 tank fulls thru it right after doing the o-ring thing, changed builds, then 17 more tank fulls, so 25 tank fulls in all with no seepage. NOW, I can say that Fad's o-ring trick, with a little modification (I put mine under the positive block) really works Great.

Yes, I too have noticed that the positive 510 screw is a bit too long for some mods, and run a .5mm "Mod Saver" from Kidney Puncher on my HΩ Tech G2's, but not on my HΩ Slice's (don't need to) or my Presa TC 100's.

I run either 28g NiCr or 30g Twisted Kanthal A-1, both spaced and 3mm coils in temp mode on my HΩ Tech mods and am at from 1.06Ω to 1.35Ω depending on build. I typically build from 6 to 8 wraps, all spaced like I said. No Problems here. The added warmth might be due to the coil being in the middle of the tank versus the bottom of most other RTA's billy.

I wish I could run a high VG juice as I think a higher VG mix would lessen the seepage problems I had in the past, but I can't (I'm finding that the less VG I'm using in my mix the less throat problems I'm having), so I am running (right now) a 60/40 PG mix and will prolly end up at either 70/30 or even 80/20 PG, I'm still working on that part though.

Which grommets you using Fad ??

Good to see, Five-Two! I may keep an open eye, if I ever get the urge to go "modding". :D

KP here too. They work great for the Siren/Provi combo (for me).

You should give the SR V4 a try. Similar in size to the Hussar but comes with a glass tank. I have both and am happy with both of them. I am using the Shenray now and have ordered the FT version as well. These do not come with any extra glass but you can buy them separately.

2Fdeal has these with a nano kit, that I think includes a smaller tank, and smaller airflow pin. I looked for the Nano kit on FT and couldn't find one. Have you seen one at FT?

No. They only sell the RBA at this point. They do not sell the Shenray version so it may be a bit before they get accessories for it. If and when I ever get the glass (last order from 2Fdeal to Canada took 33 days shipping because they do not have epacket), I will try it out in both versions.

One other thing that is nice about the SRv4 is that you don't have to take it off the mod to fill it. Both the Siren and Hussar have to come off for me to fill. Not sure about the rest of you. With the SR, you just close the JFC which moves very easy, take the top off, fill it up, put the top on, open the JFC and vape. You do not have to close the AFC. Never had a leak yet.

So, did you get the 2fdeal bundle sale version of the SER v4 with the nano kit? The website says the nano kit comes with a pc tank. Is your tank pc rather than glass? I'm hoping 2F just made a mistake on the description.

The MTL has a few issues, it does leak a bit out the bottom.
The jfc don't seal well at all! I have to turn it up side down to put the cap back on when filing, or it floods the chamber, bad!
It's not a MTL atty imo. Maybe with the reducer, But I don't use it.

I still use both of mine, they vape very well! The flavour is good!
The draw with no restrictor is nice :) Direct Restricted Lung Hit.
I wouldn't recommend it cause of the issues, But I was able to see past the issues, cause it Vapes Well!!
