Honestly, this tank still seems to seep excessively on me every time I refill it, so it is far from perfect, but at least it doesn't leak on me at other times, for now.

My search for the perfect, affordable MTL rta continues.
Try this one. Affordable $25 Never leaks or seeped ever. You can get the authentic airflow reducer kit that fits it as well.
I have 2 and it's my favorite tank. Exactly 1:1 The threading is amazing, and easy to build on.

Hi guys! I recently acquired one of these great tanks. It has become my second favorite tank!
I do have leaking issues but it wasn't right away, it took a few days. I'll definitely be reading this thread to get some tips!

Glad to know you like it! The flavor is fantastic! What works for me with the seeping hasn't worked for anyone else that I am aware of. As long as I keep the coil stuffed with enough cotton and do not allow my juice level to go above the top of the build chamber, my Sirens stay dry. It will help if you use a 3.0 mm diameter coil. It's too hard to stuff enough cotton in a smaller diameter coil to keep the Siren from leaking.

52anddone gave a good explanation of a fix for leaking Sirens on page 175 of this thread, but he also said you can find more detailed posts and visuals on beginning on page 109 of this thread and going forward for several pages.

Good luck!!

Plenty reports of leaks from these too, I have 2 I retired a long time ago, because they leak slowly from the airflow, I think it is because of the 2 orings on the base, they get constant wear from opening and closing the juice control, I replaced mine once, and within a few weeks, it was leaking again. But they do give a good vape though, but still the siren beats it IMO :)

I have had no leaking issues with mine using the mesh posts. I fill mine all the way to the top as well. I don't see how it really could leak wicking it that way. Give it a try.

I'm glad to know your fix is still performing for you. I'm pretty happy with mine as they are, but I am curious about the mesh posts for others who are having issues. Didn't you post about it here within the last couple of weeks?

The SMJY KF5 I have is a year old. Still has the original orings. It's been my main tank. Just picked up another one a month or so ago. I like my Siren but the KF5 is just easier to work on.

Yeah on 173. I did change the coil to 26g round wire still 3mm ID. Not really a fan of Claptons. Hate the ramp up time.

You want to trade it for one of mine then

I can only speak from my experience and what others have reported, and when buying clones, there is chance you won't get a perfect one, so guess yours was from a better batch than mine :)

Did you notice any other difference in using mesh posts, like flavor etc, just curious, as I do have SS mesh from years ago, might dig it out and give this a go on my 25mm that I haven't managed to stop leaking.

It won't have an effect necessarily on the flavor. The mesh is only wicking your cotton to your regular build.

Mesh posts??? Never heard of them!

SS mesh, it was used regular on the old gensis tanks.

All I've ever built are simple round wire coils. My one upgrade was to learn to build slightly spaced coils and that's pretty much all I build anymore.

How about just using a much longer wick? I usually cut mine about 2-3mm from the bottom of the tank, but maybe a longer wick that kind of wraps around below the chamber a little (or a lot?) would help prevent refill leaks? Anyone try this or something like it with any success?

I'm not sure I want to play around with SS mesh, mainly because I'd have to buy some. Nearly every time I buy something extra to help fix a problem, the problem doesn't get resolved, but now I have something extra on hand I have figure out where to store - just in case I might need it one day in the distant future. I'm a vaping gear pack rat.

My wicks usually touch the bottom of the tank and sometimes wrap around the airflow tube, but sometimes they're beneath the build deck but above the bottom of the tank. I don't notice a difference with leaking or seeping, but I don't have leaking or seeping problems. Every now and then, I'll see moisture, enough to wipe it with a paper towel, but it's almost always because I didn't shut down the afc before refilling. If it's because there's not enough wick, I use Classwife's fix for adding wick and that takes care of the problem.
