Ahh, the o-ring fix. I hadn't thought of the ramifications that might ensue with the o-ring fix. I don't know, really. I have all of my Siren's fixed already, even though they are still in their boxes except for (1) 22mm and (1) 25mm that I have out and using. I know that some of those Siren's were a Royal Pain in my Kabootle to put the o-ring fix in, so I'm not gonna undo it for testing. Maybe someone that hasn't done "The Fix" yet can try a 3.5mm or 4mm coil with KGD wicking and let us all know. That would be very interesting to hear about.

All 7 of my sirens have had the O-Ring fix and have not had a leak with any, I have had a drop or 2 on a couple even after the O-Ring fix but never any leaking. One thing I have noticed in the last 3 weeks is that I began filling all the Sirens on an angle and haven't had a drop of seepage at all, I don't know if this has any relevance but I used to fill straight down into the tank and on a couple tanks I would get a drop or 2 of seepage but since filling on an angle ALL ARE SEEPAGE FREE. I didn't want to say anything until I tested this out, it may be nothing but all my Sirens are bone dry . I'm using a 28 gauge 2.5 mil diameter coil and Rayon wick.

My DIY cotton candy is tasting awesome in the Siren! Goes well with the Pico!

I have to agree with you bob. It took me about a month, maybe two before I started to fill at an angle, that way really limits bubbles from forming on re-fills for me. You use 2.5mm coils ?? Well then, that about debunks my theory of 3.5mm or bigger coils, doesn't it. Here I thought I had a working solution for all our Siren ill's. Nutz !! Back to the drawing board for me. All I can say is that since I went up to 3.5mm or bigger coils, my seepage problems have disappeared. It's something to try, along with all the rest of the "Tips & Tricks" in this thread. The o-ring fix, using coils of 3.5mm I.D. or bigger, and filling at an angle to negate those bubbles from forming in the bottom of your tank.

If your new to this thread, and have a seepy/leaky Siren Version #1:

"Tips & Tricks" to get your Siren to not seep or leak, if it is. I would start with #1 and see if that fixes your leaking/seeping problems. If not, then keep going until your problems are fixed.

    1) Filling at an angle to negate those bubbles from forming in the bottom of your tank. (This has worked for at least 1 person)
    2) Use coils of 3.5mm I.D. or bigger.
    3) Tighten the center positive post VERY tight, as some come from the factory rather loose.
    4) The o-ring fix.

    I have implemented all 4 steps on my 7 Sirens ( 22mm and 25mm).

If I've missed anything, Please correct me and let me know what I have missed (I'm going from memory here).

I didn't want to post the angle fill until I put the Sirens through their paces and did a time trial and I thought 3 weeks was plenty of time to test, so I posted my post #3722 and wouldn't you know it today I have some seepage on 1 tank.:grr::grr::grr:

Signing up for the assignment, 5-2, but it's going to have to wait awhile. I'm still doing nothing but refilling and vaping this same ol' smallish and cotton-wicked coil (Fill 5 now, oops, make that Fill 6).

Sure wish I'd read this thread before filling it this morning. I've been doing the straight up fills, but anxious to try the angled.

For the first time, I did get a bit o' seepage this morning (sniff sniff). :(

Impressive Bob. Especially in lite of the fact that you're using a smallish coil and RAYON!

I gave you a "Funny" on your post, but I'm not laughing AT you.

Would this be a bad time to say that I don't do anything but unscrew the top, then fill 'em? I don't tilt 'em, tip 'em, roll 'em or flip 'em. Just squirt & go, so to speak.

One sits on a GMZ Provi, and the other on a SX Mini, so I know they can both take some beating. The funny thing is that they haven't even had to (take any beatings).

Last wicked 'round three months ago, they're both going pretty strong (knock on head).

    Hi, all. :)

I've personally always tilt filled mine,
i've always been a bit ocd with the air bubbles and found tilting gave me a bubble free start, when any appear when using i'm always good for tilting about to remove them lol....but once juice level gets towards the bottom of chamber they get harder to remove.

You guys Crack me up.:lol:

BTW, I forgot to list in my above post that I have been running 80 PG/20 VG juice in all my tanks for several months now, not the thick stuff many are running. So that should be brought into the picture when I talk about seepage with the Siren. Every once in a while a person will have a Oopsie (Kat ) and do something that is contrary to the Siren's wishes and then find a seep or outright leak. When that happens and you find yourself "FLOODED", just turn your Siren upside down, open to the Biggest air hole, grab a Kleenex and put it loosely around the base (where the air hole is), and give it a couple of good Blows up thru the drip tip, wipe off the base (air ring) good, reset your preferred air hole and vape on. That has always cleared out any excess liquid from my Siren's without taking the whole shebang apart again to redo the build and give it a bath. That's similar to what they did back in the KayFun days, and still holds true today for a "Quick Fix".
