i did great for a few days and cut my smokes from 40 to 8.
but this morning I'm not getting much satisfaction from vaping.

i switched flavors but i can't bump up the nic as i already use 24mg.

any advice or soothing word to give?

For Many people, until you get about 2 weeks of being Smoke Free, you're going to have some Bad Days when it just seems like things aren’t working.

When I quite, I kept some a 36mg Bottle in the drawer just for those Days. Kinda a "Break Glass In Case Of Emergency" type e-liquid.

Sometimes you just have to Grit your Teeth and Scream, "I Can Do This".

I smoked and vaped for about 2 months..... I was down to 5 a day, then 1-2 a day, then 1-2 a week or none with one smoking day. Once I went a few weeks without smoking, they started tasting horrible. Last time I lit one I actually threw up. Don't beat yourself up if you smoke some.... vape for 15 minutes and see if the craving passes. If it doesn't, have a cig. Very few of us immediately quit.

Check out some youtube videos of cleaning and dry burning your atomizers, if you haven't yet. They can be restored to almost new condition with a minimum of work, many times.

As many have mentioned, these aren't a 'quit the first day' solution for everybody. I still smoke a few cigarettes a day, and I picked this hobby up around 8 months ago. I used to smoke 1.5 - 2 packs a day, and I'm happy with where I'm at right now.

I've been dropping one cigarette per day here and there very gradually, with many slips along the way. I do want to quit them entirely, but I'm not in a great hurry. I've been through a lot of hardware finding out what it is that I like best, and I'm pretty happy with 650mah eGo Twists, Vision Vivi Novas, Smoktech Vivi Tanks, and (Smoktech?) Phoenix rebuildable atomizers. I've made some really good juice recipes lately, too, so maybe I'll kick the stinkies completely, one of these days.

Me too Luce and Jen. So take heart all, and enjoy the adventure and be encouraged by the reduced smoking.

eGo-C tank?

That wont do it.

You need something more effective,Vivi Nova maybe

Nothing wrong with the ego-C tank.. It gives of a nice TH with the right juices and combine it with a megga batt and tank your laughing your way to a day of vaping with little or no extras to carry.

But back to the point, we all go through it, I had a bad day yesterday and seriously wanted one. And this morning the kids were up the wall driving me mad by 5am!!! so again really wanted one. Just persist, it goes away soon enough and if not just vape your head away to cloud 9 ;)

good luck

I took some of the hints on this thread and took my atty apart...gunked to the hilt! I put in a new one when I got home and it made all the difference.

Thanks for all the helpful suggestions and kind words. The encouragement really helps a lot. Despite my atty troubles today I have smoked only 5 cigarettes today! :D Yay me!

As my wise lover says "count your successes cause you are the only one keeping count".

Right on!! glad to hear it's werkin out.
