I just started direct dripping a couple of days ago on my 510. I take longer draws and it lasts hardly 5-7 drags and I get the off-taste on subsequent draws and have to refill. Is that what should be expected on direct dripping? I guess I'm using lots more liquid than I used to with cart mods like PTB and fluval etc. Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks all for replying! I find dripping more satisftying than using the cart mods like you all, but I wasn't sure I was getting the liquid's worth. Thanks again.

Actually I dont think dripping uses more juice, it requires more filling but when filling carts it takes a lot more juice each time you top off, I also think the stuff in the carts causes juice to be wasted. I think dripping results in a better hit ,flavor, and less waste at the expense of having to drip often a trade off Im will to take.

I agree and glad u liked dripping btw - I think it wastes LESS juice. My fillers alway shad some in leftover weven when I thought they were 'dry'. Of course I flood my attys now n again :D SO that can waste some juice but as its only a drop or 2, its hardly worth worrying over (always more than 2 drops in what I thought was a 'finished' filler in my cart).
Other than that I think everyone covered it already :thumb:

About 3 drops.

One other thing on the 'off taste' is the atty going dry and dry attys can die. So either redrip when you taste a drop in flavor or stop as soon as you get that off taste. Joye attys with the metal mesh at the base are the best as the mesh and threading in the mesh helps keep everything wet.

I just got my 510 the other day and I've been trying my hand at dripping cuz it seems easier than using carts all the time. My problem is that when I switch flavors the old one never seems to go away. Is there a trick to changing flavors? I've heard some people devote an atomizer to each flavor but I only have two right now so until I get more then I wondered if there was and easy way to get rid of the old flavor.

Apart from rinsing the atty between flavors, I know of no easy way.

I've been able to get rid of most flavors by vaping some unflavored or pg/vg on it. Worked wonders back when I was going nuts trying new flavors. Couldn't bring myself to break out a new atty for each flavor. I have my favorite flavor now and it's the only one I use so I don't have that problem anymore. I use 4 to 5 drops and good to go. Lovin the T-Tips too!! When I first started vaping I never thought I would become a dripper. Now I can't see myself ever going back to carts.:D
