Agreed. However, I believe the flavor of the vapor itself is much more delicate than the juice...
I KNOW for a fact that you CAN taste the difference on almost any standard atty...
...I even built my own "Redneck" top dripper mod so I could safely drip and drive!
Here it is on a fistpack Just give it a little squeeze and your good to go:

Very nice Mr. MacGyver! But have you, ummm, considered a bottom-feeder or at least some color coordination? I think they sell purple drip shields.![]()
Now, you done it!
1st let's talk about bottom feeders... I've tossed several in the trash!
Have you ever looked at a bare coil that's been used for a few days?? Or even hours for that matter...
All that coil sludge gets, flushed repetedly by the juice flow of your bottom feeder, entering the atty in a way the design intended for only air to flow, and the next thing your juice is looking like Montazuma's Revenge in a bottle with little black flakes of that stuff floating around In what was once my nice pristine bottle of premium juice!
As for the colors...
This is me in about a month and a half:

RED and GREEN ARE Color Coordinated Colors!!!
They're MY colors!
The mods are just what I grabbed for the pictures!
Don't make me go all candy cane on your ...!
ROFLMAO!
I don't know; I haven't looked. (Puts on $ store readers to look for the stronger $ store readers and flashlight to be able to see the atty...Oh look! A squirrel!)
But the strap? Is it Rudolph the purple-nosed reindeer now? (The pictures are lovely!)
The strap was the only roll of double sided velcro I had at the time I took the pictures...
As for the readers...
I LOVE THESE!!
Strongest ones I could find 3.5+ I think
$20 at Wallgreens, or CVS pharamacies...

These are GREAT for rebuilding coils for EVODS or Novas, etc...
I get mine at the $ Store, 'cuz, they're like, ummm, a dollar. I buy them a handful at a time in different strengths. I learned a long time ago about getting the strongest ones possible for close work. Although, for some reason they aren't quote as strong as they used to be. Probably defective; stupid Chinese junk. Oh wait! I wonder if FastTech sells glasses?
You're getting the ones with the built in LEDs for $1?!?!?![]()

I could not have explained this better myself. I used an atty today with a bridge, and was quickly reminded how much I don't like them.I've been direct dripping since 2009. Before there were even Drip tips. I had a callous on my lip for 2 years from stove-pipeing (vaping straight from the bare atomizer) 510s Initially I started by just dripping on the bridge mesh, then I began plucking the loose wicks between the bridge and the coil before I dripped... Eventually I started removing the bridge mesh and bridge entirely and dripped directly on the bare coil...
I removed the mesh and bridges from 510 attys and dripped bare coil exclusively for over 3 years. The advantage is that dripping on a bare coil removes everything between you and the flavor of the juice you're vaping.
The 3 and 4 hole so called dripping atomizers don't come close, and you can either buy them bare coil bridgless (fairly hard to find) or de-bridge them your self.
You get all the flavor of the juice with nothing in the way to taint that flavor, and great throat hit.
The mesh material you find in all commercial atomizers is a nickle foam. Suck on a clean nickle for a while and you'll get an idea of how it can affect the flavor of your vape.
My personal preference is Low Res 1.5 - 1.8(MAX) ohm 510 or 306 atomizers at 3.5 to 4.0 volts or around 8 watts
510s and 901s are very prone to flooding and leaking if over-dripped, so I now use a drip shield.
They work great on both, but the location of the air hole on a 510 requires the addition of a 510 to 510 adapter to allow the drip shield to get the gasket below the air hole. With the drip shield, if you flood it and it it starts to gurgle, the excess juice is contained inside the shield, and a few good hard drags will pull the juice back into the atty to be vaped off...
BTW: these drip shields do have a couple of air holes in them... the holes need to be at the top when you put it on your atty
I have dripped 801, 901, 306, and 510 attys
I have only ever found 1 atomizer that I prefer to drip straight out of the wrapper with no modifications, but you will hae to PM me for the specifics.

Just a few questions if you don't mind, as I'm still a newb:
1. What are the benefits of a 510 without a bridge? Can I remove the bridge from my 510 myself, or is it easier/better to buy bridgeless?
2. Is "direct dripping" the same thing as dripping right onto your atty coil?
3. Whereabouts in Jersey are you? Just curious because if you are from SJ, I wanted to see if you knew of any good brick and mortar vaping shops!
Thanks so much in advance!
The height is a concern of mine. I'd think it would be better suited with a small battery! I bought an ego booster when they had first come out, I couldn't stand how tall and awkward my ego's had become.I've had an Aurora for a week and was so impressed with it that I ordered three more. I have very high hopes that the Aurora will turn out to be something that can get beginning vapers started off with dripping taste and performance. However, I think before we throw around terms like "game changer" it would be sensible to wait until the Aurora's have had wider distribution to see if any "oopsies' show up and if Vision is forthcoming with a decent supply of bottles with caps as well as heads.
So far, my Aurora seems to be idiot proof. It feeds reliably and actually does a better job of saturating the atty than I've been able to manage with my VMOD-XL. The vape I'm getting from the included atty is comparable to my Cisco specs. However, it remains to be seen if that is a happy fluke.
Also, as fond as I am of my Aurora it needs to be pointed out that it has a limited tank capacity of 1.8 ml. and is too tall to be the least little bit pocket friendly. Here is a picture of an iTaste VV 3.0/Aurora compared to a VAMO in 18650 mode/AMP Tank.

Great info! I received an email from vapage for 33% off this weekend! I ordered some of the hybrid attys. By mistake, last order, I purchased the universal, which dont have that nice coil. I did not like them at all! I was really disappointed because by the time I got em, the 50% off code had expired (I would have went back and ordered the right ones). So....I am excited to see how it goes with these!!It's really hard to count the coils, I don't own a magnifying glass but I just got the Vapage slant coil 1.5 and a Kidney puncher 1.5 and put them side by side. I looked as hard as I could and I would say the vapage atty has a few more wraps. But both are serious micro-coils. I'd estimate at least 12 - 15 wraps on each.
I tried to take a photo of the kidney puncher, but when it's not firing, you can't see anything, so I tried a quick fire - but it's a poor photo sorry.
So I vaped them side by side. Both on a Zmax mini at 4 volts - a little hot you might say (and you'd be right!) with the same juice. Atty just wet, but not flooded. Now, I know this is very un-scientific, but I'd say the Vapage atty gave slightly more vapor, but similar flavor and throat-hit as the KP atty.
I'd recommend the KP atty, like I said I got a great deal on them in the classys, but I would consider buying them at full price when I need to. Only issue I have is the bottom connector on them is quite well recessed, so I do have to pry them a little to get them to work on my VMOD - but no such issues on the zmax.
I'll post the photo for what it's worth. Sorry I couldn't get a better one.
