Lol! I didn't notice the LED, I thought it was a reflection. I'm not sure I would like those. I'm imagining trying to look and tilt my head to get the lighting right at the same time. Hmmm...

Actually they are quite nice...
The LEDs are quite bright, and they seem to come together right at the focal point of the glasses, which is very close up.

The result is where ever your are looking that's where the magnification and the light is. Much better, in practice, than a lit hand held magnifier.

Tried a direct drip today (my step-father's) and WOW. I couldn't even hit it hard enough to get any vapor on the exhale. Tasted amazing, throat hit was MASSIVE, and the overall experience I'd say was great. I felt like a panzy, coughing without any vapor coming out at all, but WOW, it was phenomenal. I can definitely understand why people would still use direct drip (my step-father still does now and then with his ProVari).

The advancements in vaping gear technology over the last few years have been amazing to watch!
But while we have larger juice capacity, and variable voltage, variable wattage, rebuildabe atomizers, even RBA tanks,
we have not managed to improve on the flavor, and throat hit of bare coil dripping on a 306, or 510 atty.

Vapor production YES, but not taste, and throat hit... IMO..

Great info! I received an email from vapage for 33% off this weekend! I ordered some of the hybrid attys. By mistake, last order, I purchased the universal, which dont have that nice coil. I did not like them at all! I was really disappointed because by the time I got em, the 50% off code had expired (I would have went back and ordered the right ones). So....I am excited to see how it goes with these!!

I got that discount code too (3T3T3), I'll be getting a few more of the slant coils.

I too made the mistake of getting the hybrids. They are not bad in the VMOD, but they do not produce the vapor or flavor of the slant coils IMHO. Still they are decent and they will be used.

I'm going to have to fool around with them a bit. The draw seems to be a little tight too! I will keep them for an emergency.

The ones you dont want are these AMG Hybrid Universal (2-pack)
The ones you picked are supposed to be the good ones!

Thank you! Thank you! I thought I had paid attention to which was which before I ordered, but then when Shade posted that the hybrid was a mistake and he should have ordered the slant, I remembered that the ones I ordered were called hybrid too.

I've been dripping for almost 3 years now:) It gives me the best flavor and amounts of vapor. I've tried many of the fillable

I have been having a problem though the last few months. I use regular Joye 510 attys and in the last dozen drip tips I have bought, only one fit the standard Joye 510 atty! I use 100% VG so I have to remove the tip 50 times a day. I'm wrecking the threads on my expensive mod with all the pushing and pulling of the drip tips:( Anyone have a suggestion of which tips go on smoothly with the new style Joye 510's?

Sorry, the word I should have used was universal, they call both types hybrids.
But yes, these are the better ones Ocey...

Try putting a little juice on the drip tip o-ring, and just around the inside of the chimney to lube it up a bit... That works in most cases for me...
OR you could go to a local hardware store and try to find a slightly thinner o-ring....

But the real question, is why are you removing the drip tip to drip???

They're made for dripping straight through them. Just give it a puff of air (from a distance, don't put your mouth against it) after you drip to get anything that may have hit the inside wall, wipe the hole, and vape away!

Ha! Forgot I made this thread! Thanks for the replies everyone. Reason I was asking was because I was setting up a website for newbies with a direct dripping guide as the go-to for new vapers. I think that's the best way because of the throat hit, vapor, taste, and nic delivery.

Anyway, also posting in the dripper's dying breed thread. Happy Vaping!

Find a WIDE WELL drip tip. Super T Manufacturing has them, pricey, but quality.
