tanks have the ability to accept less liquid when drippers cant accept a lot of liquid monk, exactly as you said. So you have the ability on a tank to change the wick quick and still dont spend your juice. Also dont forget that drippers keep on their wick a lot more juice (because they have a lot of wick on them), so you spend a lot of juice when you change the wick on a dripper.
We cant really compare tanks with drippers because tanks are way superior devices. I was only talking about the advantages that people think they have with drippers that not only dont exist but also they are disadvantages
