Just got my charger yesterday for my DSE 901 - holy crap lot of smoke... but I'm having a problem... I get TOO much nicotine from the ecig because it is so easy to smoke, both from my ecigsale super mini and the DSE901 from puresmoker. I actually had to puke from the nicotine poisoning yesterday at work lol. I never had this happen with real cigs because I could never go through more than 3 in one chain smoking session while with the e-cigs I just keep puffing away for hours.

There's the maths and there's the science. The maths usually says we inhale less nicotine with esmoking than smoking. The science of absorption has yet to be explored. Do we absorb more nicotine while esmoking?

A few people have reported overdose symptoms while esmoking. If these are people used to cigarettes why would they experience overdose symptoms if they are getting less nicotine into their bloodstream?

I'm not convinced that we are getting as low dose nicotine as the maths says.

The 901 is ALIVE!!! LOL ... Glad to see the new charger is working!

Its very easy to nic overdose with ECigs. Like Kate mentioned, there are a few people that have OD'd from ESmoking, its not too uncommon. I always suggest people start out with non/low nicotine content cartridges/liquid until they find that correct strength they are used to (Equivalent wise in standard tobacco cigs).

Start with Non/Low Gashin, and move up from there!

Thanks again for the great service.

I was a half pack a day smoker so I guess a couple carts on the 901 is already that lol. Right now Im just topping off with the free medium tobacco Kick juice Jane included in her mini... I'm hesitant to use the low nic ones you gave me bc Im afraid they'll be too weak but I think I'm reconsidering now lol.

So how many drags are you guys having per "session" on average? I've been keeping a smoking diary, sort of, and lately hot cigs are averaging 13 drags per cig. I'm guessing I'm going to need to drag 20 on the e-cig before i put it down - although the novelty might make me want more at first. That's with the 18mg and I'm currently on 20 a day hot cigs but reducing when i can.

I dont count lol, I keep smoking until the battery dies, topping off continuously.

I don't really count either, I vape almost constantly. I usually use a low nicotine diy juice so I don't get too much nic but occasionally try high nic. After a while with the high nic I have to stop and give it a rest, I don't think my heart can take it, lol.

I went from almost twenty roll-ups a day to exclusively esmoking. It needs different habits to regulate the nic I think. The nic doesn't necessarily translate directly mathematically because it's taken in a different formula and by different methods by less clogged lungs. Quantity of nic isn't the whole story.

So... OD mean the heart can't take it and pumping fast right? I didn't know, I thought it was coooool. I usually vape 11mg, then got some juice in VG 18mg Dunhil, start vaping and my heart beat faster than normal. I don't know it a side effect, thought it just me so just keep vaping 18mg (can't help cuz the juice so awesome), now my heart get use to it lol. But i'll move back to 11mg or 14mg by mixing the 18mg with VG and flavor lol. Happy vaping ya, I like it so far. My co-worker ask when me when am gonna quit vaping WHILE he surround with all my thickass vapor, I said.........why? cuz am having fun lol. Am an IT person, so vaping helping thinking lol.

I would have to agree with the OP that you will likely increase your nicotine intake initially when switching to PV's. I got a Volcano with 8mg Cartridges and even though I got the lowest strength of nicotine available, the first cpl puffs on my PV gave me a nice nicotine buzz. Also, because your new toy is so much fun to play with you'll likely want to smoke even more than you would with analogs. BTW, I used to smoke approx 5 Camel Light 100's a day, smoking half a ciggy at a time and finishing the rest later.

On a slightly off-topic note, I've been very pleased with my standard issue Volcano. I read a good bit on this forum and around the web prior to it arriving. I've not experienced any of the usual complaints people have about the L88B series. However, I am a light smoker. So I'm pretty sure that has a lot to do with it. I'm also thrilled to state that since it arrived last week I've smoked only half a cigarette. Last night I took the rest and gave them to a family member to stash away, just in case, lol.

To those STILL reading AND considering buying their first PV, I'd reccomend getting some 0mg nicotine juice/carts with your order. That way you can play with your PV a whole lot when you get it, without drastically increasing your nicotine intake or getting sick. I'd also reccomend a Tobacco flavor, as the occasional urge to step outside creeps up. I like my fruity flavors, pineapple and watermelon especially. However, when trying to simulate an analog I'm thinking a little tobacco flavor would go a long way.

Of course, because of the aforementioned mistakes I made on my initial order, I now have a great excuse to place another order, lol. So maybe you should keep that in mind!

Anyway, hope this post has been as informative to read as it was fun to write!

I agree with the 0 nic advice - you can have 0 nic juices for 'pacifying vapes' and hit off the nic juice when you feel a craving. That way you aren't going to go into 'OD' country.
Tbh, I havent had much of issue since hte first couple of weeks, I got lots of low or 0 nic juices and my nic stuff is only 12mg anyway so my cravings tend to be mild if at all.
I have found, through personal experimentation, that a tobacco cig can now put me into orbit so Im pretty sure that they deliver MORE nic than a PV does; certainly cig-driven nic enters the brain a lot faster than a PV. If I try a cig (they arent taboo, I try one every now n again as a comaprison) i tend to feel really sick afterwards (and I jsut try ONE, and its an ultra light btw, and usually only a few puffs) which I havent had with a PV in a dog's age.

one thing i know is that without e-cig, you will get more nicotine

If you use VG instead of PG then you might lose flavor and throat hit.
If you eliminate nicotine, you will lose throat hit.
There are ways to counter this.

I haven't tried them all but here is a link.

Consider me your recycling center for Njoy Pro, Smoking Everywhere Gold, Cloud 9, Smoke 51 Trio, and DSE103 useless batteries.
Other hardware if it’s still usable.
Those I loan out to/give to thank you.

THAT is an excellent idea and one I didn't think of. I was so caught up in how to get the closest to the amount of nicotine and a comparison to flavor that I didn't take what you said into consideration. My true aim is really the quitting of the analogs but what if I really like it so much that I want to do it more but without making my nicotine intake higher?

So here's a question, you have a cart that has the juice with nicotine my guess is (not having mine yet) that you simply take that cart out and replace it with the 0 mg cart is this correct?
